Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. If this case is proved to true (it is allegation as at now) Painstil has to prosecuted. Why? 1) Domestic violence (abuse) offense is between the state and the perpetrator, in this case Painstil. 2) To serve as a deterrent to others. He has to be withdrawn from the national team because he is not a good role model. In this case, I applaud the police for taking action. In the past this wouldn’t have come out. Most Ghanaian men assume that assaulting a spouse is alright but I believe that it right time to clamp down on perpetrators. I have no deep insight in this particular case, but from what I have read so far, the alleged victim demonstrates a typical characteristic, denial, of victims of domestic violence. I can say with certainty that if the allegation is proven true then this present incident is not the first time Painstil is subjecting her to such treatment. Men who indulge in this shameful act tend to be; controlling, and narcissist. Meanwhile let’s reserve our judgments until everything comes out. Police action is not stupid.

With the death certificate in hand, Koomson went to the Ghana Consulate Office to make arrangements to send the body back to Ghana for proper burial. The Consul, after hearing of the death of the mother-in-law, told Koomson, "My friend, the sending of a body back to Ghana for burial is very, very expensive. It could cost as much as $5,000 dollars." The Consul continued, "In most of these cases, the person responsible for the remains normally decides to bury the body here. This would only cost $150 dollars". Koomson thinks for some time, and answers the Consul, "I don't care how much it will cost to send the body back. That's what I want to do." The Consul, after hearing this says, "You must have loved your mother-in-law very much, considering the difference in price between $5,000 and $150 dollars." "No, it's not that," says Koomson. "You see, I know of a case many, many years ago of a person that was buried here in Jerusalem, and on the third day he was resurrected. Consequently, I do not want to take that chance!"

If these reports of stabbing in the eye and falling unconscious are true, the wife can't turn around and brush up what happened as merely domestic.The relatives of Richlove must intervene to save her. This might be a case of Stockholm Syndrome where the victim continues to have relations with the attacker.
