The NPP’s Kookoase Kurasefuos some how believe that, when they are miserable, then all Ghanaians feel the same. When NPP got the chance to rule, we then saw their true colors. What they did to other tribes in Ghana and in the army, were despicable. The NPP imprisoned some of the ndc people without any reasonable cause. Nana was even looking for Rawlinsg to kill.( disgusting he went over to Rawling being him to help him win the election against president Mahama.)
The npp seized the airways and flooded it with immoral and loose talks. They shared the country’s businesses amongst themselves. Made their sons rich, and shared Accra and government lands to themselves- selfish fools..
The country was insecure. Arm robbers everyday intimidated us. Corruption was the order of the day, yet the npp in their stupidity thought Ghanaians loved them so much, until the truth landed on their ugly heads on Election Day. Not surprising with all the NPP’s machinery, they lost x 2 elections. Hatred filled their soul for northerners and ewes especially.
Now the NPP says Ghana will not see peace. Every northerner is labeled Tani Aboa! Hatred for Northerners, Ewes, and even Gas became the npp’s business of the day. There is no respect for other tribes. At this point, it is out of hands and it is sickening. Now the other tribes would not take it any more- npp is feeling the heat as we speak!!. It is now “ton pied mon pied” as the French would put it..
Now they can smell and see fire,. DAN NIAMA!
.I never had time for these comments until I read some stupid tribal comments from that refugee call Sarpong and his bunch of fools who do not know they are only hurting the npp.
I have said it before; NPP cannot win any Ghana election without the north, NEVER!
The math can be done anyhow and it will not workout! Volta is out. So forget it.

Don't you know that the dollar is too high for the cedi to be equalled to and if it was done it meant we had to expport more to equal it thus increasing the hardship in the country?

Those Days can better be described as hell when Ghanaians lost respect in the entire world we live in. Kronfuor Kuffuor, in spite of taking Ghana to the cleaners,'HIPC', was also going around the globe begging world leaders for help. His ministers were also doing their bit in impregnating women whenever they attend on behalf of Ghana, HIV Conference.

What word can best describe this sort of backwardness than hopelessness?

The continued boycott of parliament and associated functions of government does not give NPP the moral authority to criticise the ruling NDC government. NPP was elected to ensure the right balance in matters of the house, debate issues and present divergent views to solving problems of the country. That is the work of the opposition as long there is a government, whether for 4 years or short of that mandate. Ghana cannot afford to be without a government even for a moment let alone since 12 December 2012. NPP has reneged on the contract with the people who elected their minority MPs to represent them by their boycott of parliament.

NPP refused to accept the elections and the SC is in the process of determining its credibility. Until then and for all sensibilities, NPP MUST RESPECT THE CONSITITUTION and be LAW ABIDING. They refuse to submit to authority and are a bad example to future politicians. They cannot tell us that from 12 Dec until now, Ghana should not have a leader and a ruling party. Is it not prudent for NPP to remain tolerant, patient, uphold the law of the land with show mutual respect to people with divergent views and to show same even within the party? That is the way to earn respect and win followers.

NPP has short changed the electorate who won them minority seats in parliament. They should attend and honour parliament by part-taking in all its proceedings. That was what they were voted for not to project and pursue partisan sentiments or personal ambitions. They have reneged on that promise and have therefore lost their way. The current NPP leader has become the one-eyed giant leading a team of the blind and the whole party is at a precipice. How can the country trust such beanie brains? Ghana cannot and should not be made ungovernable as propagated by the NPP leadership who are but selfish belly-politician, bankrupt of educated leaders. Wereko-Brobbey and Appiah-Minka their only visionaries, even though disagreed with the election outcome, yet managed their differences by co-operating with the ruling government in the interest of the country.

GHANA SECURITY AGENCIES & JUDICIARY: Ghana is our dear country and must not be allowed to be dragged into anarchy by anyone, not NPP, NDC or anyone. When NNP leadership vowed to make the country ungovernable, it should be seen as a threat to national security and stability and nipped in the bud. This is a cancer that is festering, a serpent that lives to raise its nasty head some day. Freedom of speech (behind which some people hide and misconstrued by a few others) has limits, more so where the national peace and security is under threat. Libellous charges should be brought against loose talkers who spurn out untruths for political gains and those radio lawyers and others charged with perverting the course of justice with their blatant utterances. There is a thin, fine line between freedom of speech and the wrong side of the law. The Ghana judiciary must act to educate the people.
As Ghanaians, our duty is first to the country and then party. In the UK, you can have you opinion but cannot discuss and openly adjudicate an on-going court case, let alone on air. The law is firmly applied and everyone falls in line. This stops the war for public opinion between NPP/NDC as we find in Ghana at the moment, with grave tendencies to mislead the populace. Unproven facts published in the papers or aired on radio publicly, are libellous and pervert the course of justice in on-going court cases. The Ghana judiciary must WAKE UP from its slumber and act to ensure that the limits are defined by the law is understood. Radio houses must engage in mass education and to teach social responsibility on what we can do for our country and what to expect of our leaders. The Ghana Judiciary risk has become a laughing stalk since the Argentine warship saga, a litmus test to international law.
For NPP, their allegiance is first to the party, then self or vice versa and country last. They should learn to put country (Ghana) first, resist following their leaders blindly to boycott parliamentary processes for which duty they have been duly elected by the people. They ridicule themselves even more by taking their salaries and fat housing allowances for work half done. There is contract with the populace underwritten by the salaries they receive for work done in parliament and to serve the people. This code of practice, NPP continue to break by their unjustified boycott of parliament, shunned their responsibilities and must learn to do what is right for the nation i.e. to provide the needed checks and balances in all parliamentary proceedings of the house. Do not give NDC that easy open ride in parliament. We want to see NPP engaging NDC in serious parliamentary debate and part-take in all activities or risk becoming irrelevant by the way they are dealing with the case in the SC or sink into oblivion.

How can a 28 year-old boy talk like this? Ever since Ghana returned to multi - party democracy no state of nations address was accepted by the opposition party. The opposition can fault the speech if they consider doing this as part of their duty. But the NPP MPs ought not to have boycotted the address only to criticise it through the backdoor by a small boy like Awuku. Are there no matured people in NPP to occupy the position of a deputy communications officer? Kindly allow this small boy to look for a job, work and gain experience before uentering politics. By the way, the decision by NPP MPs to boycott anything Mahama is illegal and they can be properly sanctioned. It is not NPP that's disputing Mahama's declaration as president but rather the evil dwarf, Akuffo Addo and two others. They did not go to court in the name of NPP but in their individual capacities. The electorates in their various consistencies never gave these MPs the power to boycott parliamentary programmes. They should never allow the greed of a few party officials to taint their conscience.
