I just watch football and i am an arm chair supporter of Arsen Wenger's ARSENALS FC of English premiershhip but for a head coach to say his players were 'tactically indiscipline' in a game which his team was 2 goals ahead and allowed the opponent to equalise says all.

Which FA will tolerate such a remark from head coach?

Was it not a blunder to make Asamoah Gyan the captain of the BlackStar after he rejoined it? The old John Paintsel would have been better a choice. For me he has a better leadership quality.

How could the head-coach and his technical team believe they could win the AFCON trophy with his current junior players? That was a 'day light' dream.

I think it is high time the head coach realises that he can not beat any tough team with his current if he tries to leave the senior plays like the Ayews, the Essiens, the Kelvin Boatens, the Muntaris and others. These guys are playing good games at their respective clubs.

There is no doubt that Kwasi Appiah made some miscalculated mistakes, we all including himself would admit to that, but coach sacking is not the solution.

Remember this man is brand new, only 10 months on the job and most of his 10 months were used for recruiting. He does not have experience but is determined to make amends to achieve his goals. The accusations of tribalism levelled against him has no merit. Kwasi Appiah is a Bono man and he did not recruit any new Bono player. He does not hate the Ayews either, because Dede Ayew was the first on the list of the players invited to camp and Jordan Ayew's first invitation to the Black Stars was his idea.

The allegation that he dislike certain players is false. The man had little time for the injuries of Muntari, Dede Ayew and Adam Kwarasey to heal before the AFCON, even Agyeman Badu's injuries, to my opinion was not well healed. As for Essien and Kevin Boateng, they have made it clear that injuries from the Black Stars are not worth it, compared to that of their foreign club teams. For Jordan Ayew, he just needs one or two years to mature out of his teenage temper indiscipline.

Kwesi Appiah discovered young and talented players like Wakasso, Fatau Dauda and Atsu, and even Jordan Ayew himself. His efforts brought Jordan Ayew to the Black Stars, not the Serbian Coach. Appiah has only found out how to be the top man after years of working under the shadow of other coaches. If we fire him today and the next coach loses the World Cup qualifiers, will he too be axed?

Ghana can only win the AFCON with patience, hardwork and God's blessings. Trying to force God to give us the AFCON CUP is not the answer. We can't force God to give us the cup even with the best players and coach in camp, we also need fortune from God. This is because injuries, player indiscipline, impatience, chaos or even a bad referee can cost us the cup. Those who doubt this should take a good look at Ivory Coast.

Ghanaians need to stop all the rush, be patient, sit back and rethink and ask for God's guidance to manage all things.

Nyantakyi does not interfere in the Black Stars affairs, he tries to help them when in need, but even that, Ghanaians were upset when he went to Europe to beg for Kevin Boateng's return. I remember Ghanaians criticized him for this but the same Ghanaians now accuse him of failure when Kevin Boateng missed this AFCON.

The problem with Ghanaians is, nothing satifies them, they don't know exactly what they want and they are also very impatient and ungrateful. That problem is witnessed in our everyday lives. This is the reason why we are always on a merry-go-round.

I never heard anybody talk when we won against Egypt and Tunisia before the games.With all the stars in Man U,Real Madrid,Barcelona etc coaches in these clubs do not win all matches.Ghanaians talk as if we have the best team on earth. Some of the changes and decisions made at AFCON were awfull. Five minutes into a game, you don't change formation because a player is injured. Where have subsitutes. Akwesi's decisions were very poor. Also no matter what anybody says, we need the experience players like Appiah, John Mensah etc. Look at Keita, who would have thoughtt just one player can take a team all the way to third place. Ghanaians shoudl stop this player is old thing forcing our valuable players into retirement.

Stephen Appiah bear in mind that Alex Ferguson and Mourinho will find the "ROOT CAUSES" and get rid of them. People think that Alex Ferguson and Mourinho are your typical nice guys when it comes to coaching, NO!!! they are purposefully ruthless, sophisticated and detail-orientated achievers. Ferguson, Mourinho, Mancini, Guardiola, Bosque, Scolari etc are ambitious and have dominant personalities. That aside, a coach can be gentle, quiet, and self-effacing and still win trophies. These achievements can be known after the fact. It is very difficult to to invest hope in something that we do not have confidence in. Supposing Mourinho was the BS coach, he would make a list of things that GFA should offer him. Trust me GFA would see Mourinho's list as an abuse of power, but at the highest level coaches wield a certain special kind of POWER...best described poetically as the power of a demigod. Why do you think Mourinho sees himself as the "special one". AA is being taken to task because it appears as if he is using the Black Stars as his 'boot camp'. AA is expected to be a General whose schemes will make us win 'most' battles(matches) in addition to winning wars(trophies). AA should not be a stooge of the GFA..but rather the Wolf in the movie PULP FICTION who was brought in to clean up a mess. Folks please pay attention!!! and watch on YOUTUBE by typing in Pulp Fiction- The Wolf....AA should be like the Wolf and GFA should be Tarantino's character (Jimmy). Jackson and Travolta characters are BS, think about it metaphorically.

We were beaten by Zambia, Liberia, Burkina Faso and Mali. ANOTHER 4TH PLACE FINISH. Is that not enough evidence that Akwasi Appiah is not capable in handling the team?

Coach Appiah has been an apprentice for years now and talking of route cause he should be the best man to identify them more than anyone else. The responsibility of him as a coach is being able to read any game in progress and make needed adjustments to contain a threatening opponent. He should in addition understand the mental state and physical fitness of his players before featuring them on the field of play. And just like the teacher in the classroom it will be a disaster presenting a "B" student for a competitive exams while ignoring the "A" students with an incredible track records to show. Sometimes as a leader you might consider playing it tough in order to instill discipline but you do so at your own peril especially when results are expected. So the best tool is to eschew our pride even under hard and challenging circumstances by appeasing difficult but indispensable players. On this note, the call for his resignation is not a misplaced agenda. He should be treated like any other-being it a foreigner or whatever. After all the expectation of Ghanaians is a "win" and nothing but that. Appiah's position is contractual and any under performance should not be countenance because he is a Ghanaian. Never should we make the mistake of lowering the bar for him. He should be held accountable and measured to the same standard like any other individual. Long live the Ghana Black Stars.

THE FIRST PENALTY IN A SHOOT OUT IS IMPORTANT SO THE COACH MUST ENSURE WHOEVER TAKES THE FIRST SHOTS MUST BE COOL HEADED AND SCORE. IT IS BETTER TO SHOOT AND THE SHOT IS CAUGHT RATHER THAN COMPLETELY SHOOTING WIDE!
