WE HAVE ALL THESE PROPHETS BUT WE ARE STILL A BEGGAR NATION. WE GO TO THE CHINESE AND JAPANESE ON OUR KNEES BEGGING FOR AID. THESE NATIONS DONT HAVE PROPHETS AND DONT PRAY AND FAST LIKE WE DO.

IT SEEMS EVERY JSS DROP-OUT BECOMES A PASTOR IN GHANA. IS IT BECAUSE IT IS THE EASIEST WAY TO MAKE MONEY? ARE THESE SO-CALLED PROPHETS IN THE MINISTRY FOR SALVATION OR FOR THE NICE CAR, NICE HOUSE AND PRETTY WIFE?

WHAT HAS ALL THESE PROPHESY AND PROPHETS DONE FOR GHANA? WE ARE STILL POOR AND SUFFERING. DO WE NEED THESE PROPHETS? NO WE DONT. ALL THE ADVANCED COUNTRIES DONT HAVE PROPHETS. YET THEY ARE DOING VERY WELL. THEIR STANDARD OF LIVING IS HIGHER, THEY ARE RICHER AND THEY LIVE LONGER.

I think that biblical roll that those prophets of old played in those days which even lead to the beheading of John the Baptist and ultimately the crucifixion of Our Lord Jesus Christ where prophets like Mica declared "I am full of power to declare to Israel their sins" have been overtaken by some good journalist today who being average or even not knowing much about the bible depending on their religious affiliations are the ones who could stand out today & talk boldly with conviction against political myopia / corruption of our leaders, moral decadence in society and any other thing that demands public attention/rebuke or redress while our so called prophets are spending good time prophesying bread and butter to the people and also experts at making political predictions in other to be noticed. That is too bad for this generation, well don't be surprised. The bible said that these shall be one of the signs of the last days. We are living in the last days!
