I have been an Athlete and a hockey coach before and can confess that sportsmen and women are sometimes undisciplined and do not follow simple orders. This can be found in all sports. Even when players are asked not to drive their own cars to training grounds, some of them still do it. That is why we need strong coaches who can put their foot dowm.

I suggest we start looking for a new coach, and if it is a Ghanaian we must have, then I nominate Sammy Kuffuor. Despite his limitations with the English language, he comes across on TV as a very knowledgeable and tactically astute football analyst and pundit. He has been calling it right more often than not on his SuperSport assignment.

Every national team head coach has 15 players who are core to his team based on their club performance. Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, etc can be late due to various reasons and would still make their national teams because of their club performance. They are the core guys on their national teams. AA needs to realize and understand that criteria. Then you add the players who are going to put pressure on your core guys (quality subs)to perform.

Can kwesi do the same think in Kotoko or Hearts? leave the best out and then Hearts beat Kotoko or Kotoko beat Hearts? He will definately be sacked for that, believe me. What about Jordan? I think we should give him a second chance even though I think Salas Tetteh is a better coach then he is. He should have called Salas for help and not Konadu his tribes man, shame on him.

2) Not being a Manager: A coach is a manager. Imagine Jose mourinho picking contention with Christiano Ronaldo.You must manage your players characters one on one with them. no inbetweeners.

3) Technical weakness: The team we took to southafrica a lacked an offensive player who will hold the ball upfront and taunt defenders to come out. A player who can "dance" with the ball upfront when a team is defending well. We were playing direct football. Take note of these.
