Don't get me wrong, as soon as NDC came to power in 2009, they plotted a scheme to siphon huge monies into the NDC account through dubious judgement debt payments. And now that all eyes are on judgement debts, it shouldn't surprise any one that these criminals are looking for other avenues to get money to pay for the most extravagant and flamboyant mother of all expensive campaign cost incurred in the history of Mother-Ghana. What make things very strange to me is how the MP of the area started hyping the situation to the tune that people had even started collecting the oil in buckets. Has anybody think of the possibility that 419-scamers(NDC Evil Dwarfs) can dump quantities of 'dirty oil' or good quantities of oil in the well to coerce the government, or create the avenue for themselves to dig their dirty hands into the taxpayers money? In fact this is the time that you can see the real idiots on Ghanaweb. Statement; "Oil is discovered in Trokosi Village"... Trokosi gullible idiots: Yeeeee! Nkwanta area is mix up with many tribes.Though it is in the volta region but does not belong to ewes.This place is called northern volta.There are Konkombas,Akans,Ntrobos, Basari,Krachi´s,Nanumbas,Kotokolis,and many more.

This found oil is will not be a commercial quantity. It must have been a small deposit in a reservoir that was kept there by the colonial masters. You just cannot discover oil this way so we shouldn't get too excited.

He had no rig, just a simple drilling machine yet he found something that sent the GNPC and the whole National Security rushing to the scene. For all these years it has not even occurred to the GNPC that they should even search mainland Ghana. Who knows, places like the Ashanti, Bono Ahafo or the Upper West could all be sitting on oil. After all Sudan is more inland and further from the sea than Ghana yet they have found oil there. God should rescue Ghana from our clueless leaders.

Anyway, the GNPC should hasten to capture seismic data in some kilometers around the perimeter to ascertain whether there is a formation and the extent to which it stretches. Core and log data is neccessary to know the type of structure holding the oil- porosity, permeability, saturation etc. At a 10m depth and oil is flowing, this is amazing. It could be a large reservoir. The oil looking like refined, this is a less viscous, high quality oil with high market value. Well God bless the find for Ghana.
