The role of the AG is not defy the instructions of the President but offer good legal advice to the government. It is up to those ministers and the government as well as the President to accept or reject the advice. Ministers, governments and Presidents have rejected legal advice by AGs. If that happens it is up to the AG as to whether s/he wants to continue serving as AG.

On the point of clout, it is relevant because the AG's department in Ghana is rotten with Attorneys with political interests, so the AG must be a legal heavyweight not lightweight. This is even more valid since the government has lost a number of cases and Attorneys do not turn up in court to defend and prosecute cases.

Just dont know why the media keep giving these fagots air time to be contributing on national issues. if you truely respect Ghanaians you will know that the same constitution that gave you the power and right to go to court, also gave the right to the president to be president until the SC says otherwise. Sometimes, i doubt the common sense of these fools.
