  It was long, long overdue to hook ALL the rural banks to the ICT world.
  
  At the moment, only a few transact forex businesses, especially receiving transfers from overseas, despite the fact that the large network of rural banks give them the biggest advantage to capture the bulk of tranfers to the rural areas.
  
  They should also adopt local transfer systems based on mobile phones.
  
  There is so much scope for improveement to enhance service to the people and grow the rural banks which are not being taken.
