The vehicle worthiness certificates are given to drivers whose vehicles are clearly not road worthy after taking bribes. The time has come for everybody to be honest in discharging his or her duties.

Why is it that only in Ghana do we find accidents caused by brake failure? I have lived in countries where there are millions of vehicles and never heard of brake failure. Could it be that DRIVERS ARE AWARE THEY HAVE BRAKE PROBLEMS BUT FAIL TO REPAIR THEM? IF THAT IS THE CASE THEY SHOULD BE CHARGED WITH CRIMES LIKE MANSALUGHTER IF ANYONE DIES FOR THEIR FAILURE TO FIX THEIR VEHICLES THE POLICE SHOULD WAKE UP!!! THEY LOOK INCOMPETENT WHEN THEY REPEAT THIS CRAP OF BRAKE FAILURE.

Mandatory bi-yearly inspection of all motor vehicles for mechanical faults must be instituted immediately. An arm of the Ghana Police service must be charged to implement this policy. No road worthiness certificates can be issued for deficient ones. Meantime, the government must repair all dilapidated roads to offset premature damage to cars. Life and limb are at stake here

Buy a $10 ticket to the Davis Bicycles! Film Festival on November 20, show sttars at 7 PM and ticket office opens at 6:30 PM at the Brunelle Theater, Davis High School, 315 W. 14th Street, Davis. We are raffling off a nice in-hub 4-gear red and white cruiser. The more $1 raffle tickets you purchase, the better your chances at winning, and it's for a good cause Safe Routes to Schools. It has coaster, not hand brakes, but it's brand new and is a really smooth-riding bike.
