Anybody with a brain knows that there are too many speed rumps on the road. The one at Dadieso is extremely dangerous as you come unto it suddenly. Please use speed cameras instead. It is time we sole problems scientifically.

2. The high-way stretch from Konongo to Kumasi should be at least double lane to start and plans for adding another lane in the future.
If the government lacks funds, collect tolls for that and save human lives.

We have high speed roads running thru existing villages and towns-YOU DONT DO THAT. We have newly done roads and then suddenly people encroach near it for lively hood. We have government purse which should be used wisely given us dubious judgement debts whilst those involved get higher post or walk free. We have people who have gone to universities to learn planning and engineering yet our country is so unplanned and basaaaaaaaa keke. We have so called elected leaders supposed to change stuff and get things right but government go government come YET the value the same. We have to SIT UP and be serious black people the indiscipline is toooooo much.

Strict traffic and road worthiness laws enforced by an uncorrupt police force is important. Public safety campaigns and education will also help. Ultimately a national culture of investing resources in building dual carriage roads on ALL highways will reduce the accident statistics significantly.
All established democracies and industrialised countries embark on such projects which are LIFELONG. The journey of a 1000 years starts with one day, and unless we have a national long term road strategy and costed and structured development plans to carry them out, we will always complain about these accidents.
Of course over-speeding, impatience and wrong over-taking cannot also be overlooked in the strict interpretation of the current laws. The road safety officers have a very important job to do and need our collective support in executing their duties and bribing them does not help anybody.
