Transparency via Right To Information Act enactment NOW!
As the veteran writer will put it,
"It is often acknowledged that democracy is not the best form of government. Except that it is better than any other system of government in existence." - Cameron Duodu.
I wouldn't even call the President, Ibrahim Marmar, but his appointments so far has been good to excellent but we want Right To Information Act NOW!
Ms. Lithur, no matter where you are or what portfolio you are designate, we are still counting on you for the fight to legislate Right To Information bill. Don't let us down now because it's overdue.

Rawlings said the death of prof.Mills was perfect timing of God's intervention.
Volta regional minister Kamel's death was spiritual intervention of God's power for Kofi Adams to become a paliamentarian.
And John drosmani Mahama said"dumsor dumsor is the will if God.
It won't take long for us to hear that his "bula matari"that gave him the will to have 24 children will 11 women is the will if God.

WHEN THE HISTORY IS TOLD, IT WILL BE SAID THAT GHANAIANS WERE OFFERED FREE SECONDARY EDUCATION, IMPROVED UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE, SOCIAL HOUSING FOR THE POOR AND AN EGALITARIAN SOCIETY BUT 50% SAID NO THANK YOU. THEY PREFERRED ECONOMIC "WOYOMISATION" , PHANTOM DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS, PHILANDERERS FOR LEADERS, MACHIAVELLIAN DISRESPECTFUL CORRUPT LOUTS AND A VISIONLESS EVIL GOVERNMENT. I AM SO PROUD I VOTED FOR NANA AKUFFO ADDO.

This problem has been there since in was born in the late 70's. I remember when i was a kid, in the 80's, the problem was there. I left the country and came back in 2000, the problem was there, in addition to water shortage. During the election of president Kuffour, he promised he would solve it. He could not solve it in his 2 terms. Prez Atta-Mills promised to solve it, he also couldn't in his almost 1 term. THIS electricity problem is a national issue so we need to stop politicizing the issues and think intelligently by DEMANDING parliament to act on it once and for all. Do you know the implications and ramifications of intermittent electricity is causing unemployment in the country? Industries, companies and business depend largely on electricity to be able to run. If electricity is not available 24/7, or the alternative, which is generator, is so expensive that companies wouldn't make profit or break even, how are they (companies) going to run and employ more people? How are the companies going to run second, even third shift to employ more people? When companies start running two or three shifts, they will employ people to the extent that those selling dog chains in the street at Circle would not find it beneficiary to continue doing that. They would stop by themselves. This is common sense. When all the political parties are promising employment during electoral campaign and they all don't have a plan to solve this issue, then they are fooling us. We need to stop playing this NPP and NDC blame game because its goes to our detriment. The only people benefitting from this blame game is the elected politician. They take advantage of our inability to analyze and judge independently, and worse of all, the inability of the media to be non-partisan and educative. We Ghanaians have short memories. When something happens today, we blame the party in power without any objective analysis. I was even surprised to see some highly educated Ghanaians participating in this blame game instead of talking solution, demanding solution.
Making electricity run in Ghana 24/7 does not need Professor Allotey or any Rocket scientist. Electricity was discovered in the 1600’s, yes, you heard me right, in the 1600. We are not asking the government to re-create electricity for Ghanaians. All we are asking is just maintain it 24/7 for the people of Ghana. The same goes with water. We are not asking our leaders to connect water from the moon or from another planet to Ghana. All we want to the water that has been flowing for centuries in the Volta lac, just 200 km from Accra. And this simple, very simple thing has proved to be impossible from Rawlings to Atta-Mill. Those electrical and water infrastructure we have now were mostly constructed during Nkrumah time when the population of Ghana was about half today’s. Yet governments have come and gone. It is high time we demanded the government to do the will of the people.

Cert, solar is something we can take advantage of in Africa. In fact, Africa should be lead that trend because we have solar energy in abundance. But, with today's technology, solar energy cannot substitute hydro energy in industrial scale. Today's tech does not permit to use solar to turn big machinery for hours. But it is an idea that can be exploited especially by African researchers.
