I understand the injury doesn't look that bad as initially feared according to the Stars technical team and that the player may return to training in the next couple of days. We thank The Almighty for that and prays that He protects the rest of the team from injuries.

Brother Kojo, the Tunisian friendly will afford the coach the opportunity try some other players who didn't feature or start the game on Thursday. It will also give the him the opportunity to fine trim the rough edges which were exposed in the match against Egypt. Just to remind you Ivory Coast, South Africa and some other participants will play their final friendlies on Weds. 16th so comparably Ghana has a week to recover before we start our group matches. I believe that on balance, it will be good for our preparations. We just have to pray that all the players will be protected from injuries. I have faith in the Almighty, that he will do just that.

I am sorry you have to get injured now, Annan, and I know the team doctors will try to comfort Ghanaians and say Annan is alright but the truth is you cant leave out Dede, he has done a lot for Ghana and this is not how he should be treated.
He might be indisciplined, but what matters is that his indiscipline not only extends to you the coaches, it also extends to his opponents and thus the opponents of Ghana. He plays his heart out, ready to do all he can just so Ghana will win. I have deep seated feeling that without him we cant win this cup, if Annan has to be out for Dede to be brought back in then so be it.
No hard feelings towards you Annan but then some things must happen for other things to also happen. ciao
