Kwabena O. Akurang-Parry, a Ghanaian poet and historian, is an Associate Professor of African History and World History at Shippensburg University, Pennsylvania. He is a product of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana; the Institute of African Studies, University of Ghana, Legon, Ghana; and Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Canada. He received his Ph.D. in African history from York University, Toronto, Canada, in 1999.

He has published over fifty articles, some of which have appeared in Slavery and Abolition, African Economic History, The International Journal of African Historical Studies, History in Africa, Transactions of the Historical Society of Ghana, Left History, International Journal of Regional Local Studies, African Identities, Refuge, Ghana Studies, African Issues, Groniek, and the Journal of Cultural Studies.

He is the co-editor of African Agency and European Colonialism: Latitudes of Negotiation and Containment (University Press of America, 2007).

Some of his poems have appeared in Okike and Ufahamu.

His research primary foci are comparative slavery and abolition; colonial rule and African responses; and gender in the Gold Coast (Ghana).

As my mother said the other day, NDC has never truly and genuinely won any Prez and many Parliamentary Elections. Their worst calamities are yet to come. God is slow to punish criminals.

was having an affair, and expected to catch her in the act.
The driver agreed, and they both tiptoed into the bedroom, turned
on the lights pulled the blanket back and found the wife in bed with
another man.
The husband put his gun to the man's head, and the wife shouted,

Im a friend to Mr Dongoyoe in London. Today is exactly 1 year (10th of January 2012)that the said attack happened. Ask this evil NPP man where he was in january of last year. Why didnt he organised a press conference to rubbish the story immediately the matter broke out on the 5th of Dec 2012 prior to the Elections. This NPP is just a disgrace to his family and should be ashamed of himself. He did the same thing to another man in the Asesewa Village before and was taken to chiefs Palace. Why is he putting out different stories in the media. In one newspaper he has denied the story and in another one he admitted the act in the original story. If the voice recording was not his then i think it might be that of his Grandmother. Why did he run away from the UK in January if he was not running away from the UK Police. And even started hidding his phone number any time he called Mr Dongoyoe afterwards. Bellow is the Crime Ref number of the UK Police on the matter 3802220/12......he just a looser. He admits at one point and denies at another. When his colleagues were being sworn into Parliament, he was seen and held standing outside in the street shamefully defending a defendless matter. He will die with blood in is huge mouth on day. Thank you.

If Ghanaians had adopted this attitude , most of these 'Lalasulala Newspapers' would have left the market long time ago.

Ghanaians we have to know our constitutional rights and go to courts and redeem them.

First, he unlawly broken into my house, using my house as a hotel, using my house as his car any time he was with my daughter under my own roof and beating her unnecessarily. He's our Krobo brother, but if he comes on, I will face him in our own Asesewa Court. I have respect for his wife as a mother & woman but I pity her for denying this sorry. I wish her all the best.
