As a reputable statesman, John Agyekum Kufuor is obligated to attend the swearing in ceremony of any elected president of the country during his lifetime.

However, this time around, he is being called upon to attend the swearing in ceremony of an Afari-Gyan selected president, and not an elected president.

The patriots of Ghana have called on all and sundry, who believe in the tenets of democracy with free and fair elections being the basics, to boycott the swearing in ceremony of the fraudulently elected president, John 'Zuma' Mahama(the first president of Ghana with 24 children from 11 women).

As a patriot, John Agyekum Kufuor is bounded by this fiat by the patriots to stay away from the swearing in ceremony of John 'Jacob Zuma' Mahama.

This is a very tricky situation for the gentle giant.

But will he allow the devil to push him far into ignoring the pleas of his fellow patriots to boycott the swearing in of the Woyome-sponsored and Afari-Gyan selected John 'Jacob Zuma' Mahama as president, or give legitimacy to the criminal tricks of Afari-Gyan and Asiedu-Nk3s33 to be at the swearing in ceremony ?

Asantes are also arrogant and believe they have been ordained to rule Ghana-another falsehood. No Ghanaian in his/her right mind will vote for a party that has such a core belief...a divisive philosophy at its best.

Asantes also believe somehow they own Ghana-another falsehood. This can be determined by their rhetoric and their dealings with other Ghanaians.

Asantes also believe they are smarter than any other group in Ghana-another falsehood which has been proven on countless occasions in Ghana and in the diaspora!

Asantes somehow believe they have the culture and heritage than any other tribe..another lingering falsehood. Every tribe regardless of its size has a unique cultural heritage and history. Will Asantes learn?

Asantes somehow believe they own all the resources in Ghana-another falsehood... which has been proven by the continued discovery of other resources in other part of the countries case in point oil discovery in the Western Regions. Though not proven yet, it is the believe that the oil deposits extend all the way to the Togo Aflao border. The truth is that Ghana has so many resources staring at Ghanaians today which are yet to be fully tapped (just like in many African countries). Case in point the sea is a major resource which is yet to be appreciated by most Asantes. The sea aside of the fact that it has enhanced maritime trade and promoted international trade with the outside world has aided in Ghana having access to the needed Foreign exchange that the country critically needs for development. In addition, it has promoted tourism and can do more if the government, policy makers of the day, stakeholders and academic see it as a potential resource. It can be used for the generation of electric power by harnessing both the sea waves and also and by placing wind turbines along the entire Ghanaian sea coast to generate power in the wake of the frequent power outages in the country due to the erratic nature of power generated by the hydro electric projects in the country. Relying on hydro power alone is catastrophic and electric power should be consolidated whereby different sources could be added to the national grid. Most renewable power sources do not require the presence of abundant water (as required by the hydro dams in Ghana today) to operate efficiently. This is where other regions come in.... wind energy, hydro power, ocean energy, biomass and geothermal energy to mention a few. What about food security? Arid and semi arid regions in Ghana which currently are disregarded could be food security zones in Ghana by adopting water and soil conservation methodologies. For example adopting buried irrigation, spray irrigation, sprinkler irrigation
drip irrigation, practicing furrows and ridges farming and mechanized farming as against subsistence farming which is the mainstay of most African States.

In conclusion Asantes, will be continued to be isolated so far as they continue to harbor these backward ideas. If they want to be accepted then they should refrain from the above mentioned practices.

I disagree with you, however that Mr Kufuor be restrained from attending the ceremony; he is the former president (statesman) therefore country first, there is also a slim chance that notwithstanding evidence of election fraud available to the NPP the Supreme Court will not rule in favor of NPP. Having said that, the onus rest with the supreme court: if the court after its preliminary assessment of the merits of the case determines that there is a probable cause then the court can issue "injunction" to stop the ceremony. Honestly, I don't see that happening. Merely stopping Mr Kufour from attending the ceremony will not add any value to the case but rather hurt his image in the country and the world. During the campaign Nana Addo, NPP for that matter, didn't good job. They did not do "grassroots" campaign. They were overtaken by events. NPP has to go back to the drawing board and come out with a better strategy next time. Jato, lets reason here; do think the supreme court will overturn the election results? The chances of the supreme court doing that is may be less than 5%. The results will stand. Afari Gyan was the problem. He was not diligent in executing his duties as EC.

D'you remember the 1996 elections, when Afari-Gyan and his fellow NDC rogues rigged the elections in favour of the NDC ?

Now, after the NPP painstakingly and diligently pieced up the evidences together of the Ayawaso West-Wuogon constituency results and presented it the the court, the High Court quashed the verdict of Afari-Gyan.

Even though the petition was filed in 1997 and George Amoo was declared the winner in 2000 when parliament was just about to end its tenure, Justice was made to prevail.

It is true that Kufuor's appearance at the swearing-in ceremony will not change the outcome of the case in court, his presence will be used by the fatuous NDC propaganda machinery to indicate a rift in the NPP leadership.

That is why the young patriots have gone wild.

High Court quashes Ayawaso West results

An Accra High Court presided over by Mrs. Justice Agnes Dordzie, yesterday quashed the 1996 parliamentary election results declared in the Ayawaso West-Wuogon constituency. It gave the ruling in the case in which Mr. George Isaac Amoo, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary, challenged the basis for the compilation of the results which declared Mrs. Rebecca Adotey, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, the winner. The court also quashed Gazette Number 56 of December 19, 1996, which contained the name of Mrs. Adotey. It ordered the Electoral Commission (EC) to assemble, collect and collate the results of all polling stations and the correct total votes cast for each candidate who contested the parliamentary election the Ayawaso West-Wuogon constituency on December 7, 1996.

Welcome to the "messy world of democracy" which we all adore. I perfectly understand some of the issues you raised. However, my concern transcends that of the party; Kufour's attendance will showcase Ghana's maturity as a democratic country. "The world is not fair" thus NPP should continue pursuing justice while we continue with our lives. At the end of the day we are all Ghanaians. As you alluded to aforementioned case (Ayawaso), NPP should have known that they were dealing with a crock, Afari-Djan but they rather ignored that bitter experience and allowed themselves to be cheated again. Before the election an article appeared in "African" magazine, the author, Nigerian journalist opined that Afari_Djan planned to rig the election in favor of NDC. Thus NPP should have laid solid security strategy to avert the situation but ..... This is going to be a good case-study for all of us.

The matter is still in Court and Mahama should be given the benefit of the doubt until the Supreme Court pronounces its verdict either for him or against him.

The constitution did not prevent Mahama from taking office, but he and his government will be considered invalid and expected leave the scene peaceful if he looses the case. Until then everything should be normal. I believe Kufour should attend because that is a normal procedure.

The court is the only body in our constitution who has the right to say whether Mahama won or not. Until then, everything should proceed normally and Kufour and other invited dignitaries attend the swearing in without any hesitation. That does not mean legalizing an illegal regime. The regime is legal until proven otherwise.

If the court overturns their mandate, then Rawlings and Mahama will also be expected to attend the swearing in of Nana as the president. It is therefore childish to try to prevent Kufour from attending.

The Electoral Commission is the only body mandated by the constitution to hold elections and declare a winner. The Commission held presidential and parliamentary elections and declared John Mahama winner of the presidential election. This remains the position unless the Supreme Court invalidates the election results.

Hence John Mahama will be sworn in as President next Monday. this is a national occasion, and the NPP and John Kuffuor would be wise to attend.

The NPP through its unruly, disruptive behaviour is losing support among the general populace, including its own sympathisers and supporters. The damage to the party may well lead to a resounding defeat in 2016.

Man Fathers 9 Kids With Daughter, Pleads For Forgiveness

Agbofa Yao Hateka, the 47-year-old fetish priest who fathered nine kids with daughter has pleaded with a Sogakope circuit court to forgive him his sins as he would not do it again.

He has so far made two appearances in the Sogakokpe Circuit Court for having nine children with his daughter, four of whom were dead.

Agbofa Yao Hateka was in the Sogakope court on 12th and 13th July charged with incest. According to the prosecutor, inspector Emmanuel Atsor, the case was reported to the Dabala Police by a certain Torgbey Sekpetey II, chief of Ashagborkope, who is also a tax collector. The complainant told the police on June 7th 2012 that the accused was married to his biological daughter, Baby Hateka with whom he has nine kids. Yao Hateka allegedly impregnated Baby and subsequently had eight other children with her. Out of the lot, there were now five kids aged 14, 12, 3, 2 and a month-and-a-half old. During the interrogation however, Baby Hateka told the police she had eight other children with her father out of which three died, contradicting the accused person’s narration that he had only a two year old baby with his daughter.

The accused would not allow anybody to intervene as he allegedly threatened people with death if they meddled in his sexual relationship with his daughter. He allegedly threatened to invoke the spirit of his gods to deal with meddlers. The accused told the court that he was both a farmer and a fisherman, although the prosecution witness claimed he was unemployed. Before his arrest, the accused told the police that his daughter suffered from sickle cell anaemia, and had come to stay with him from a cocoa-growing area. Torgbey Sekpetey II had earlier fined the accused a fowl so his daughter could be cleansed before reporting the matter to the police. The case has been adjourned to 20th July 2012 for judgement.**

A 40-year-old welder; Emmanuel Kwesi Yevu, who is accused of defiling his 13-year-old daughter blamed his action on “juju,” (magic) when he made his second appearance before a Circuit Court in Accra.
Yevu told the court that somebody had cast a spell on him because he was getting more customers in his carpentry business.
When the court asked why he defiled his daughter, Yevu said: “My Lord the thing came on me in a spiritual form. I sometimes dream that I am sleeping with my late wife. I took in some alcohol on the day in question before going to bed. I detected that my daughter had placed her legs on mine and I mistook her to be that of my late wife and I defiled her.”
This, according to Yevu, had had happened on two occasions. Yevu, who is charged with defilement and incest pleaded guilty. But just as the court was about to hand down Yevu’s sentence, his brother raised his hands saying he had sometime to say.
Yevu’s brother told the court that Yevu had confided in him that somebody had cast a spell on him and blamed his action on “juju.”
The court presided over by Mrs Justice Georgina Mensah-Datsa however sentenced Yevu to 10 years on each of the charges. The sentences would however run concurrently.
The court told Yevu that it only had power to deal with the charges brought against him adding: “You can pursue the juju case at the juju court.” Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sarah Acquah told the court that the complainant was the victim’s uncle.
Yevu is the father of the victim. Since the death of the victim’s mother, she had been living with the father at Omanjor in Accra. ASP Acquah said during October 2011, the victim was sleeping when Yevu forced her and had sex with her on two occasions.
After the acts, the victim informed her father that she had not menstruated for the past three months.
ASP Acquah said Yevu knowing very well that the victim was pregnant, gave the victim medicine to swallow and insert some of the medicine into her vagina.
Soon after inserting the medicine, the victim began to complain of abdominal pains and she was rushed to the hospital and a report was made to the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit at the Odorkor Police station.
The victim was issued with a medical form while her father was arrested by the Police and during interrogation he admitted the offence.

A 45 year old mason has been arrested in Accra for forcibly having an affair with his daughter and subsequently, having a baby with her.
“You are very stupid! Which is better? Sleeping with my daughter or running after other women who could infect me with strange diseases which I could also pass on to you?”
These are the shocking words of Felix Torgbor, a 45-year-old mason from La, who was caught by his wife having sex with his 19-year-old daughter.
Apparently, Torgbor began having sex with his daughter when she was only 16 years old; broke her virginity and subsequently had a child with her. He is now in the grips of the Odorkor Police in Accra.
Torgbor’s three-year-old sexual affair finally came to an end when his wife caught him red-handed making love to his daughter in an uncompleted building on the dawn of Saturday August 15, at Russia, a suburb of Accra.
Salamatu, Torgbor’s wife, told DAILY GUIDE that she wakes up very early in the morning, goes to work and returns at 7:00pm.
On that fateful day, she returned from visiting her sister at about 10:00pm on Friday night. She called her husband to join her watch an African movie shown on TV, but he declined and kept moving up and down.
She then began wondering what was making her husband so jittery.
According to her, the TV station closed down around 12:00 midnight, so she went to bed.
At about 12:45am, she woke up to realize that her husband and daughter were not in bed so she went out in search of them.
Salamatu indicated that her husband is putting up a building which is just a distance from the family house where they live, so she had a strong urge to go there to search for them.
When she got there, she saw that her step-daughter had laid a piece of cloth on the floor of one of the rooms and she saw a man lying on top of her.
She yelled and held unto the man only to realize it was her husband who was moaning and groaning on top of his own daughter.
Salamatu said she could not believe that this abominable act was going on right under her nose for the past three years.
When she demanded answers from her husband, he called her a stupid woman.
“You are very stupid! Which is better? Sleeping with my daughter or running after other women who could infect me with strange diseases which I could also pass on to you?” he asked, threatening to beat her up if she shouted.
Salamatu says she raised an alarm, drawing people to the scene.
Speaking to DAILY GUIDE, District Crime Officer (DCO), DSP Bafour Appenteng said the affair between father and daughter started somewhere in 2006 when she was dressing after bathing.
Narrating the sequence of events, the DCO said it started when the grandmother of the victim observed that her pubic hair had not been shaved. She questioned the teenager who replied that she was scared the razor blade might harm her.
Her grandmother, thereafter, sent her to buy a razor blade so she could shave the hair off, but by the time she got back, her grandmother was asleep.
On reaching home, her father, who was then eavesdropping on the conversation, asked what she was going to use the razor blade for.
She explained what the grandmother had said.
Torgbor then insisted on shaving his daughter’s pubic hair, in spite of her resistance.
According to the victim, her father laid her on his matrimonial bed and shaved her pubic hair after which he forcibly had sexual intercourse with her.
No amount of pleading could stop Torgbor from carrying out his intentions, and he had sex with her on the blind side of his wife, Salamatu Piaga.
The girl emerged from the room in tears and because her legs were wobbling, her aunties, who lived in the same compound house, asked what was wrong and she revealed to them that her father had just had sex with her.
According to the police, the aunties explained that at the time of the incident, the family was bereaved and so they decided to meet on the matter after the burial of their kin but later forgot all about it, and even though Salamatu was informed about the incident, she chose not to pursue it.
When she quizzed her husband about the incident, he got mad and subjected the child to severe beatings, saying that she wanted to disgrace him.
Later, when the girl turned 17, she got pregnant and left to stay with her biological mother at Osu because her father was furious, claiming his daughter had a boyfriend and subjected her to severe beatings, even though she was pregnant for him at the time.
At Osu, she reported the incident to WAJU but her mother, who did not believe her claims, abandoned the case after receiving a police medical form.
When the teenager gave birth in April last year, her stepmother, Salamatu, went for her from the Ridge Hospital where she delivered a baby girl and brought her back to her father’s house with the intention of caring for her and the baby.
The Crime Officer said when the baby was nine months old, Torgbor, who was eager to re-ignite his sexual relationship with his biological daughter, forced her to stop breast-feeding the baby, which she did.
They continued with the affair until the dawn of Saturday August 15, 2009 when Salamatu grabbed the two seriously making love.
Subsequently, Salamatu packed her belongings out of the house but did not report the matter to the police until her husband was arrested on August 18, 2009, by the Odorkor police who invited her to write her statement.
The victim, who was cuddling her daughter when she spoke to DAILY GUIDE on Thursday, confirmed that the baby, an exact replica of Torgbor, was indeed her father’s daughter.
She told DAILYGUIDE she wishes her father would be kept in jail forever.

Ho, May 13, GNA - Daniel Gadzeti, a carpenter, was sentenced to five years imprisonment by a Ho circuit court on Tuesday for being in an incestuous relationship with his 19-year-old daughter Mabel Gadzeti, a seamstress apprentice.
Mr Frank Owusu Afriyie, the presiding judge, deferred sentence on Mabel Gadzeti until after medical tests for pregnancy and sex related diseases.
Mr Afriyie described the conduct of Gadzeti, a father of four, as "very irresponsible". Deputy Superintendent of Police Kwadwo Nkansah told the court that Gadzeti, who was staying at Nkonya-Ntumda, invited his daughter who was staying with her mother at Nkonya-Tayi to come over and stay with him. He said Gadzeti the n started having sexual intercourse with his daughter. Mr Nkansah said a friend of Gadzeti once visited him and saw him (Gadzeti) and his (Gadzeti's) daughter bathing together and asked him if he was having sexual relationship with her. He said Gadzeti took offence and reported the matter to the chief of Nkonya-Ntumda who summoned the friend before the traditional court which fined him to compensate Gadzeti because the friend had no evidence to support his case. About a year later Gadzeti confessed his incestuous relationship to his uncle, a catechist, and expressed his desire to perform customary rites to marry her and make her his second wife in addition to her mother.
He said Gadzeti's uncle informed the chief of the town and Gadzeti's wife and daughter were summoned before the chief and elders of the town. A fine was imposed on Gadzeti and his daughter which they paid. He said a few days later, information about their relationship got to the police leading to their arrest.Source:

Man Jailed For Impregnating Daughter
An Accra High Court has sentenced Mr Anthony Bleworda to five (5) years imprisonment for having sex with her daughter since she was 16 years old and fathering with her five children, three of whom have since died. Mr Bleworda admitted that he had a strong urge to sleep with his own 16-year-old daughter the first day he saw her after several year’s sojourn abroad.
The daughter, identified as Matilda Bleworda, who is now in her mid twenties, is reported to have later developed mental health problems. Speaking to Peace FM and the Domestic Violence And Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU), Matilda disclosed that she willingly gave in to his father’s sexual advances the first day she saw him because her father enticed her with lots of money, but the subsequent encounters were all against her will. An earlier medical report had revealed that Matilda had indeed developed mental problems. She however stressed to Peace FM in an interview that she has now been completely cured.
She added that she did not know in the beginning that Mr. Bleworda was her real father. She believed instead that her grandfather whom she had known since her infancy was. According to her she asked the father to stop sleeping with her but he refused, claiming she was married to him by virtue of their having children together.
In an interview with Peacefmonline, the spokesperson for DOVVSU, Inspector Irene Oppong confirmed that Mr Bleworda has been sentenced for 5 years imprisonment. In answer to querries about why the seemingly minimal nature of the punishment, Inspector Oppong said the court took into account the girl’s admission that she was 16 years old when her father first slept with her and also that she consented to the act for which reason he couldn’t be charged with rape.
She explained that the stipulated sentencing range for incest for which Mr. Bleworda was found guilty is between 3 to 25 years. She explained that it took the court this long to dispose of the case because the man was having health issues midway into his prosecution. Peace FM managed to secure a major scoop and broke the scandal to a horrified country in September of last year.

40-year-old welder; Emmanuel Kwesi Yevu, who is accused of defiling his 13-year-old daughter blamed his action on “juju,” (magic) when he made his second appearance before a Circuit Court in Accra.
Yevu told the court that somebody had cast a spell on him because he was getting more customers in his carpentry business.
When the court asked why he defiled his daughter, Yevu said: “My Lord the thing came on me in a spiritual form. I sometimes dream that I am sleeping with my late wife. I took in some alcohol on the day in question before going to bed. I detected that my daughter had placed her legs on mine and I mistook her to be that of my late wife and I defiled her.”
This, according to Yevu, had had happened on two occasions. Yevu, who is charged with defilement and incest pleaded guilty. But just as the court was about to hand down Yevu’s sentence, his brother raised his hands saying he had sometime to say.
Yevu’s brother told the court that Yevu had confided in him that somebody had cast a spell on him and blamed his action on “juju.”
The court presided over by Mrs Justice Georgina Mensah-Datsa however sentenced Yevu to 10 years on each of the charges. The sentences would however run concurrently.
The court told Yevu that it only had power to deal with the charges brought against him adding: “You can pursue the juju case at the juju court.” Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sarah Acquah told the court that the complainant was the victim’s uncle.
Yevu is the father of the victim. Since the death of the victim’s mother, she had been living with the father at Omanjor in Accra. ASP Acquah said during October 2011, the victim was sleeping when Yevu forced her and had sex with her on two occasions.
After the acts, the victim informed her father that she had not menstruated for the past three months.
ASP Acquah said Yevu knowing very well that the victim was pregnant, gave the victim medicine to swallow and insert some of the medicine into her vagina.
Soon after inserting the medicine, the victim began to complain of abdominal pains and she was rushed to the hospital and a report was made to the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit at the Odorkor Police station.
The victim was issued with a medical form while her father was arrested by the Police and during interrogation he admitted the offence.

A 47-year-old farmer who fathered five children with his biological daughter is in the grips of the law.
Yao Hatekah impregnated his daughter, known as Baby, when she was 11 years old and subsequently had children aged 14, 12, 3, 2 and a month-and-a-half-old with her.
Hatekah, who pleaded guilty to the charge of incest on June 20, 2012, changed his plea to not guilty when he reappeared before the Sogakope Circuit Court Wednesday.
According to him, he had one child with his daughter and was not responsible for her other children.
The court, subsequently, remanded him to reappear on July 12, 2012.
Prosecuting, Inspector Emmanuel Atsor of the Sogakope Police told the court that Hatekah began having an affair with his daughter after his wife died.
His alleged incestuous act was brought to the attention of the police by the Chief of Gonu Ashiagborkorpe, near Dabala in the South Tongu District in the Volta Region, TorgbeSekpetey II.
It said the residents of the community had known of Hatekah’s incestuous act all these years but were afraid of him because of his threat to kill anybody who dared to criticise him.**

Man Arrested For Having Sex With 7 sheep

A 36-year-old carpenter was on Tuesday sentenced to 36 months imprisonment in hard labour by a Kumasi Circuit Court for carnally knowing seven sheep.

Kwaku Amable pleaded guilty to the charge.

Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector Comfort Baffour-Kyei told the Court presided over by Mr Justice Emmanuel Amoh-Yartey that the complainant, Adamu Issaka is a security man with the Kent Security Firm, who live with Amable in the same area at Buokrom Limex Quarry. She explained that Adamu who rears sheep at his backyard noticed that seven of his livestock had died mysteriously within a month.

At about midnight on March 25, the complainant was awoken by the bleating of one of the sheep in a pen compelling him to find the cause.

Adamu approached the pen with a flash light and saw a pair of bathroom sandals at the entrance as well as a towel hanging on the pen.

He became more curious and when he entered it, he detected that one of the sheep was lying down weak and upon examination found out that some whitish fluid was lodge in its vulva.

Adamu became astonished and decided to look round to ascertain who might have entered the pen and to his surprised, the light fell on Amable, who was hiding in his backyard garden naked.

Amable started pleading for mercy and asked Adamu not to disclose it to anyone. The complainant agreed but later changed his mind and made a report to the police leading to the arrest of the convict. In his caution statement, he confessed sleeping with four of the animals on different occasions.

Dzodze, Nov 27, GNA - Yao Flah, 23, a kente weaver, is to go prison for 12 months for having sex with a female sheep and killing it afterwards. He pleaded guilty to the charges of an unnatural carnal knowledge and cruelty to an animal at a District Court at Dzodze, which sentenced him to 12 months for each charge to run concurrently.
Police Inspector Emmanuel Ankrah at Tadzewu, prosecuting, said Flah lived at Akanu, near Tadzewu on the Dzodze-Akatsi road. He said on November 23, the complainant, the owner of the sheep, returned home at around 1800 hours to find the tethered pregnant sheep missing.
Mr Ankrah said the complainant during a search found it (sheep) dead in a nearby bush with a patch of fluid around its genitalia. He said following a hint, the complainant summoned Flah before the elders, where he admitted having had sex with the animal before piercing its throat with a knife.
Mr Ankrah said Flah was thereafter handed over to the police. He told the court the convict was sometime ago arrested for defiling a juvenile but prosecution was stalled because of lack of interest by the complainant.
Flah prayed the court for leniency saying he was drunk but Mr Anthony Abebrese, Presiding Magistrate, said he was a deviant who should be put away for sometime to reform.

One can understand the embarrassment that it will be for Akuffo Addo and other petitioners to attend the inauguration of the President but to issue a fiat to all elected MPs and the entire party smacks of dictatorship of the worse kind.

In any case the NPP MPs have always been a source of embarrassment to the nation. They lack comportment and have never been able to contain their imbecile behaviour at State functions when the whole world is watching. Although, most people knew Gbagbo won the election, Outtara was largely backed by France & the international communities. Keeping that in mind, Gbagbo failure to concede, hyped up his diehard youthful supporters, who went on a rampage, with many innocent lives lost. Hopefully, somebody would put some common sense in these youths.

This is exactly what I've been saying all along. We hear some people praising Nana's action to go to court, saying, "this is good for democracy" & "no justice no peace". But, with the actions of some of the NPP supporters, especially the youths, I'm afraid ghana is heading in the same path as it neighboring countries and that's really frightening.

Man Arrested For Having Sex With 7 sheep

A 36-year-old carpenter was on Tuesday sentenced to 36 months imprisonment in hard labour by a Kumasi Circuit Court for carnally knowing seven sheep.

Kwaku Amable pleaded guilty to the charge.

Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector Comfort Baffour-Kyei told the Court presided over by Mr Justice Emmanuel Amoh-Yartey that the complainant, Adamu Issaka is a security man with the Kent Security Firm, who live with Amable in the same area at Buokrom Limex Quarry. She explained that Adamu who rears sheep at his backyard noticed that seven of his livestock had died mysteriously within a month.

At about midnight on March 25, the complainant was awoken by the bleating of one of the sheep in a pen compelling him to find the cause.

Adamu approached the pen with a flash light and saw a pair of bathroom sandals at the entrance as well as a towel hanging on the pen.

He became more curious and when he entered it, he detected that one of the sheep was lying down weak and upon examination found out that some whitish fluid was lodge in its vulva.

Adamu became astonished and decided to look round to ascertain who might have entered the pen and to his surprised, the light fell on Amable, who was hiding in his backyard garden naked.

Amable started pleading for mercy and asked Adamu not to disclose it to anyone. The complainant agreed but later changed his mind and made a report to the police leading to the arrest of the convict. In his caution statement, he confessed sleeping with four of the animals on different occasions.

Dzodze, Nov 27, GNA - Yao Flah, 23, a kente weaver, is to go prison for 12 months for having sex with a female sheep and killing it afterwards. He pleaded guilty to the charges of an unnatural carnal knowledge and cruelty to an animal at a District Court at Dzodze, which sentenced him to 12 months for each charge to run concurrently.
Police Inspector Emmanuel Ankrah at Tadzewu, prosecuting, said Flah lived at Akanu, near Tadzewu on the Dzodze-Akatsi road. He said on November 23, the complainant, the owner of the sheep, returned home at around 1800 hours to find the tethered pregnant sheep missing.
Mr Ankrah said the complainant during a search found it (sheep) dead in a nearby bush with a patch of fluid around its genitalia. He said following a hint, the complainant summoned Flah before the elders, where he admitted having had sex with the animal before piercing its throat with a knife.
Mr Ankrah said Flah was thereafter handed over to the police. He told the court the convict was sometime ago arrested for defiling a juvenile but prosecution was stalled because of lack of interest by the complainant.
Flah prayed the court for leniency saying he was drunk but Mr Anthony Abebrese, Presiding Magistrate, said he was a deviant who should be put away for sometime to reform.

These people should be told that they are not the only men in this country. When society decides to ignore them during their hooliganism, it means society is more reasonable, not to copy the uncouth and barbaric conduct being displayed.
Ghanaians should be careful with these people. Is it not strange and ridiculous that a party which was claiming to be winning elections at the time results from their strong holds were being called; for the same party to condemn the electoral system when the results from the rest of the country point to another as winner.
NPP and its surrogate grouping like the Young Patriot are driving the former president to disgrace. There will be very important dignitaries around to attend the inauguration. What explanation will be offered by the former president if some of these dignitaries call on him? The NPP should solve its problems, in any case.
