HE PLAYS IN A WEAK LEAGUE THAT HAS STUPID MONEY TO SPLASH AROUND....EVERY 4 GOALS HE SCORES IS EQUIVALENT TO ONE GOAL IN THE LOCAL PREMIER LEAGUE, MEANING IF HE WAS HERE HE WOULD HAVE SCORED ONLY 5/6 GOALS.

He is under no pressure 5 goals in UAE are equivalent to 1 goal in the AFCON. So in really he has score only four goals.

Thanks to you and Edem for the post on the league that Gyan is playing in. It seems some Ghanaians are trying to blind their eyes to the truth. Gyan is not as good as some people think. UAE league is VERY weak. Ghanaian league is more competitive than that weak-ass league (sorry for my language but that's the only way that I can describe UAE league). Abedi Pele at the end of his career score 28 goals in 31 matches and he is a mid-fielder. Scoring 21 goals in thirteen matches in UAE league does not make Gyan a prolific striker. He couldn't score up to 15 goals a season in Italy, France and England.

Scoring goals in that weak league is not impressive. Score goals in competitive leagues and competitive tournaments. Only in Ghana would they reward you over majeed Warris who won the top goal scorer in the swedish league.

Here we go! The writing is now on the wall for all to read. Wasn't this pressure an article mentioned just a week or so ago? The guy needs help and when there is no pressure on him, he could perform to the highest. When opponents' defenders have an eye on him, it wouldn't help him. Therefore, bringing in another striker to take the pressure out of the hit-man, will do the trick. From there, it will be a piece of cake for Gyan to do his thing.

I hope people are not going to blame him if things didn't go as expected. I'm saying that because we all know him and how vulnerable he is when it comes to taking the country upon his shoulders. Bring is Abdul Majeed Waris to release that pressure.

Besides, the league Majeed Waris is playing in is not a lousy league as others may think. It is rated higher than the league Asamuah Guan is playing in. Do the research on that. Go to Fifa.com and it is there black and white. 23goals with 9assist in the Swedish league and you don't see the importance of such a record? Waow! I hope all of your are right on this hidden plan or strategy the coach is planning on.

Who says there is no pressure in football? Besides, what dust are you talking about? The case on the table is not whether there is or there is not pressure in football. The issue is based on how an individual player handles pressure. Know the difference Sir. The way Gyan handles pressure is what this article is talking about. Moreover, it was Asamoah Gyan himself talked about the pressure on him. Therefore, open your eyes and read the article and my comment thoroughly.

The article you were referring to in your above statement was the article "What If" which the writer was ordering Coach Akwesi Appiah to include Jordan. You can fool some people but you can't fool me. What is wrong with Asamoah Gyan talking about pressure? Players talk about pressure all the time Essien had said it many times that there is always a pressure playing for Ghana. Didier Drogba, Cristiano Ronaldo and Pele had all said the samething so what is your beef.

Moreover, the article mentioned that because Jordan's case has been blown out of proportion, it wouldn't be a good idea to include him. However, including Waris because of his recent record would be a help to the squad. I guess you didn't read these statement. No wonder you commented anyhow.

Did the player say there might be pressure on any of the players? Whom was he talking about? Wasn't himself he was referring to, and you asking me what was wrong with him talking about pressure? Go and research on his record and you would fine when he does well and when he doesn't. The player can't take pressure and it is obvious a good striker would be needed to help take off that pressure. When another striker is known like Asamoah Gyan is known to all nations in the continent, the opponents' attention would be divided and wouldn't be on Asamoah Gyan alone. Wasn't this was what the article was talking about? Where in that article did it say Jordan is to be picked?

Essien said it when? Did Essien say there would be pressure on him or on the team? Go back to Essien comments on his articles and copy just a single statement he made that said there would be pressure on him but not the team as a whole.
