We must be happy that some of these foreign companies are leaving. Some of these companies do not produce anything, they only provide services that Ghanaians should be providing. At the end of the day, they repatriate all their profits, in foreign currencies, mostly dollars. Can we imagine the amount of dollars which leaves Ghana every week because of the activities of companies like Glovo, Shoprite, Palace Supermarket, Max Mart, Orca Drcor, etc.? These companies create employment in their home countries and also send out our dollars.
We need foreign investment in the productive sector not those like Glovo. After all, was Glovo not only distributing food prepared by others? Can't we get Ghanaians to provide these services?

Can you imagine that a professor has not indicated that he is aware that the relocation of multinational companies is not peculiar to Ghana but a global phenomenon.
