Absolutely nauseating what this miseducation minister who went to America but America never went through him is doing to our education.

Please can somebody save Ghana from aggravated looting and corruption spree. Many SHS students were blue and white, but the Khaki and brown of JSS is unique. It has been unique since the 1987s onward.

Sad, a so-called educationist having problem with comprehension, or is it deliberate to miseducate people out of spite.
The Minister was loud and clear enough to heard and understood by all well-meaning Ghanaians. His emphasis was on schools that are now undergoing modernisation, in terms of new school infrastructure, digitalised teaching and learning resources (laboratories, writing boards, textbooks, tablets, etc,) and a new general outlook, which he described as Smart Schools. He added that this transformation process is ongoing and it is going to take place (i.e., in the future) in all public schools across the country.
You can’t put New Wine in an Old Wine skin. There must be a rebranding, hence the change in the colours of school buildings and uniforms. These signify that the old is past and the new has come.
In addition, the Minister emphasised that all the concerns about poor schools infrastructure, schools under trees, lack of textbooks, teachers, etc, are all going to be addressed in due course.
So, with all these given explanations, why and from where cometh all these vilifications, if not borne out of cynicism and spite?

What is more revamping than changing the sychology of the mind.i think this educationist did not experience what some of us experienced. I went through the old ten year primary and middle school system.i took the common entrance examination to enter secondary school.Opoku Ware school was our examination centre. We had schools like Nshiaso int.,Ridge, state experimental.we from local authority schools felt so inferior in the mist of the aforementioned schools. The inferiority complex alone was enough for you to fail.

The publishers could not be paid even though the government have bought the textbooks and distributed them to the schools. As yet they were not paid. The printers are on their neck(s). So with the new uniforms, who will win the bid to supply and where will the money come from to pay, seeing that already, the government is owing a lot of people (including publishers)?
Procurement is the best source of corruption. I smell a rat.

School uniforms must be like the US or Canada. Let the students go to school with their own house uniforms. Nkrumah brought this idea because of his communist and dictatorship agenda
