Today, it's your own blood and it pains u. It's unfortunate but swallow it n see. When societal matters arise, rise and speak against it even if it's against your party or a relative. This man has lost it all. His utterances these days are quite irritating. The other day he ignorantly attacked the President for saying Tetteh Quarshie was from Akuapim Mampong. Regrettably, he did not attacked the authors of the history books which emphatically stated that Tetteh Quarshie was from Akuapim Mampong. Now, listen to his take on the unfortunate incident that took place over the weekend around the Tema Naval Base. This man who I am told is a lawyer does not know that the soldiers are also human beings, and therefore have right of self defense? I have great deal of respect for elderly people and so I will take it easy with him. I would have love to hear him offering advice to the youth to be law abiding. Which country under the Sun will soldiers countenance such behavior within the presinct of their barracks, to the extent of destroying their vehicle in their full glare without provocation? The incident was quite unfortunate and I do sympathize with the families of the deceased ones, however, people like Mr Otoo should be careful not to incite the youth of the area in order to douce the simmering tension.

1. Avoid military installations, especially if you are a civilian. They say the shortest distance between two points is a straight line but if that straight line would take you through a military installation, you're better off using the long route.

2. It's absurd to think a military guard would have blanks in his rifle.

3. Avoid verbal altercations with law enforcement. They are probably under strict orders and more frustrated than a government employee whose salary has been delayed one week by Controller. Also, keep your sarcasm at home, especially you Gen Zs and Alphas and human rights activists.

4. Even if you feel like and desperately want to, please do not threaten law enforcement or military personnel. Please, for precious life sake, don't find yourself at a roadblock full of soldiers and start threatening to let your brigadier-general father or uncle deal with them. You may chop stray bullet. I said, may.

5. While I'm at it, let me add that when approaching a roadblock at night, kill the big man or woman ego in you and turn on your inside light and roll down your side window even if your AC is on. This will keep them from flashing torch light in your eyes or asking you to pull over.

6. Understand that with the military, no is NO! You are not dealing with you girlfriend where no may be interpreted as maybe or keep trying and you might succeed. With the military personnel who are mostly under orders from a higher officer, no is NO! End of

7. If someone has to tell you to bring out your phone and start recording things at a military installation, without authorisation, then you probably deserve what happens to your phone and you the human being. The same goes for urinating right in front of a DO NOT URINATE HERE sign, even if the inscription appears to be very faint and missing some letters.

8. Finally, if ever you are caught up on the wrong side of the military, especially in Africa, remember that a cool and calm demeanour is better than a rude and stubborn one. Those folks are trained to overcome or subdue opposition. Better not to present yourself as one._Gborlahn HK

Some of the guys actually takes the law into their own hands and behave like the town is a banana state. There's this group called ayeseke which translate as madness if I got it right, their behaviour will make you question yourself if the country really have laws. Please help talk to the youth to desist from such deviant behaviours so to attract visitors to their festivals.
