The honourable and decent stuff Manasseh Azure Awuni should have done as a gentleman was to have made copious references to the work of Mr. Taylor but he is dead silent on it. He can't be the hero in this matter when the breaker of the story is not given any credit. Kelvin Taylor is the real hero here.

Scholarships are not awarded but sold to beneficiaries. For instance people who apply for 3 yrs scholarship for PhD are made to pay one yr equivalent in cash before securing the award.

Some bidders paid the hefty charge but their wards never got the scholarship. I know a young man who applied for funds for a year to do his masters in the U.K., the fee needed was £9000 at the then exchange rate of GHs10 to £1.00, a total of Ghs90,000. He was asked to bring GHs70,000. His fisherman father borrowed the GHs90,000 to pay the fees to allow his son to make it in life. The struggle continues for the poor in Ghana while the rich get richer under Akufo Addo!

KT interviewed the middleman live on video from somewhere in Europe. He was the one responsible for the collection of these monies for onward transmission to that Agyemang guy. The meeting point was the Accra mall. He had to leave the country because he was afraid of the repercussions. The highest amount he collected was 20 000 USD from a female applicant . He did a rough figure on the total amount he had collected which was in the region of 3million dollars
