Ghana needs to improve her own TRADITIONAL TECHNOLOGY in order to enhance food sufficiency and export. Governments in Ghana usually prefer easy ways of doing things. One district one dam was a very good program but the dubbed agricultural nation has achieved very little on such a laudable. Poor implementation of policies and programs continue to ruin the country. Politicians in Ghana always chance to make a lot of money at the expense of the voiceless people. There used to be "professional politicians" who absolutely enjoy and make a good day of acquiring luxurious properties at the expense of what the chicks would eat. While these Politicians enjoy three (3) square meals together with the accompanying snacks, many famers in Ghana go out with two (2) squae meals and one (1) a day respectively. The poorest have intermittent zero square meal a day. However, the crab with long fingers dare not point an accusing fingers on the good-old bald-headed elephants for fear of being trampled underfoot in muddy water. The present government must unequivocally scrap any idea of making such a move and if not learn from Malaysia, it must copy. Farmers constitute a huge number of workforce in Ghana. Therefore, their voice must in be underestimated. Ghana has grounded her feet in the ANIMAL FARMER. While others are told to tighten their belts, the few group of people in the "cage" do not even wear belts. This is not the first time that a government has mooted such an idea. The opposition, which is now the present government kicked out such and idea. Why now?

This is their plan to cause artificial food shortages in the future, and cause us to be fully dependent on them for food. This will not happen under our watch.
