Are they not the same MPs who have been touting the fact that parliament is a master of itself and it determines its own rules and how to go about its business? How caome he now wants a High Court to tell parliament what to do?

2. He should proceed to invoke the original jurisdiction of the Supreme Court in this matter.

3. He is seeking an injunction, not a Motion to Compel, which is a different legal animal altogether.

4. What he is seeking is not judicial review, since this case is not on the track of certiorari. No court has decided on it yet.

5. He is also not seeking mandamus, because his is not a matter requiring a superior court to direct an inferior court.

6. Dafeamakpor’s case will be thrown out for lack of the Court’s jurisdiction, and on grounds of several technicalities: He got all the terms wrong.

7. His lawyers are useless.

Likewise, they don't want to do anything about galamsey because it doesn't serve their purpose: they or their constituents are profiting from the activity through bribes and kickbacks. . Follow the money. They don't care about human and civil rights of a small minority any more than they care about the environment or the quality of the water downstream from their districts.
