Yeah, Franklin is doing dumb politics. The problem happening is because of poor digital infrastructure. Bawumia tagged Mr. digital after running away from Economic Wizkid has added nothing to our infrastructure neither does his manifesto say anything about satellite or subsea cables. So what does the current problem relate to Bawumia and what drive has Bawumia added except we are facing 5 months with no data as Liberia and SA have resolved?

PLEASE, STOP LYING TO GHANAIANS. ENOUGH OF THE INSULTS ON OUR INTELLIGENCE.
Mahama the main fiberoptic cables for internet in Ghana. Mahama built the Accra Digital Centre. SSNIT, Controller and Accountant General Dept, other state institutions including the public universities (UG, KNUST, UCC, UEW, etc) digitilized long before 2017 when Bawumia became VP. The banks and many private sector players had digitilized.
What does Bawumia do when he says he is digitilizing state institutions? And what is use and duties of the MDs and Board Members of these institutions? Why are they still at post if their jobs are being done by Bawumia?
Does Bawumia move from institution to institution and carry out technical and needs assessment, acquisition of software and hardware (or even software development), installation of software and hardware, system configuration, test run, etc???
Exactly what does Bawumia do (while the MDs, CEOs, board members look on) when he says he is digitilizing? Someone help me with CREDIBLE response.

Ignore this two faced coin and forked tongue. 1st he says digitisation vindicated by connectivity crisis and argues that we need satellite not high speed under water cable. Then he equalises by suggesting that CJs two shift system validates 24 hr economy. Correction a first shift from 8.30 to 11.30am and a second shift from 2pm to 6.30pm, is a normal working day divided into 2 shifts. It cannot be linked to a 34 hr economy by no stretch of political imagination. No judge is sitting through. That will be ridiculously dangerous in a country where politicians abducted and murdered supreme court judges, lest we forget.

There’s something called the bubble that relates overindulgence and the a shock, disruption or collapse. For example, the bubble that comes with the proliferation of banks or the collapse of cryptocurrencies. The whole interface or digitization technology runs at the risk of an unexpected shock or collapse. The cure is not more dependence. We need to maintain and upgrade other traditional ways of doing business and getting things running. Our electoral system is now digitized so we fear rigging because right in the middle of voting or during vote counting, something could happen. More digitization can’t help. Irrespective of the different angles of the debates here, the different points of view just go to show who dumb or politically blindfolded Ghanaians are. We can't discuss any issue objectively without pulling politics into it. Starting with loudmouthed Franklin Cudjoe who must say something at anything, what has the cut in the subsea cable got to do with the digitalization agenda of DMB?
You make a good point that the current frustrations everyone is facing shows the importance of digitalization in our lives already, but because you hate DMB and the NPP, you must add some unnecessary comments to give a political twist to it, apparently to make you look brilliant. What makes you think being negative all the times makes you look intelligent.
And of, course the dumbs follow your lead to spew out their political venoms - either totally incapable of appreciating the wider context of the situation we face or too intellectually corrupt and dishonest to admit any reality other than what serves their very narrow political interest. And they call themselves humans - homo sapiens!! What a sorry people.

You’re no expert in internet marketing and technology neither are you an expert in basic technology infrastructure, Franklin Cudjoe so shut the hell up. Without Mahama’s fiber optic infrastructure network which platform do you think digitalization would function on even in Ghana? Secondly the interoperability aspect of digitalization would not be possible because failure of Ghana Card to function on the global network system reduces the Ghana Card to local systems bringing no value to the presumed use of Ghana Card as a travel document if foreign system cannot validate or authenticate any Ghana Card.

Internet interruption in Ghana and some African and European countries are caused by fiber cables.
Bawumia (Akufo-Addo government) has not built any internet cables. Rather some "applications (i.e the GPS, and NIA card apps)."
This has rather vindicated the previous government, who laid the cables from the south to the north of Ghana. It tells that without fiber cables (the foundation) the applications like the bragging NIA card, GPS applications won't work!
It's unfortunate, even most of so learned with titles in Ghana are shallow in analyzing and thinking!!!!
