Civil servants retire at age 60 yrs after working their butts off to retire on meager pension that can’t sustain them . Yet Afenyo wants an MP who happens to serve only a four year term to retire on his salary. Is he for real or he is joking? MPs in Ghana become wealthy just after serving for a few years and the properties that they acquire in office is just unheard of with the late John Kumah being an example. Some of our notable professionals can’t even afford to own homes before they retire and collect meager pension salaries after many years of service. Why can’t parliament look into this state of affairs for the our pensioners instead of Afenyo thinking solely about himself and his colleagues.
The TUC and all workers in Ghana must stand up to oppose this greedy bastard against his plans to further enrich his peers at the expense of the poor.
