The reality is that there is no way the GFA can afford an expensive European coach. Let Addo be the temporary interim coach. The GFA should take their time to look for the right fit and make sure the money is right.

It has been said the Ghanaian easily forgets things . The adage holds true. I remember very well after the world cup one of the comments l read was " Otto Addo don't come to Ghana again, because his performance at the world cup was just like a scout not a coach. He is going to maintain the old faces we don't want to see in the BS. This GFA is going to manipulate him. He did not call John Painstil for the world cup. His excuse was very flimsy . But he called Baba Rahman to the surprise of everybody. So there was no need for the 600 coaches to apply for the BS job. GFA could have gone ahead to bring back Otto and manipulate him. The GFA should release the names of top 20 applicants who applied for the job. From this list , the football fans and top journalists will know which one to pick for the BS job. Then Essien , Muntari etc will be the assists. We can form a pool of local coaches from the Appiah, Laryeas, Essiens, etc .whereby one of them will always be ready to take over. To bring back Otto Atto will be a disaster worse than Chris Ofun Houghton. Get an experienced coach who will bring massive changes in the team , bring in discipline and allow the younger faces to freshen the team . Essien and co.can be the assists for him. Simplicita.
