Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Kwabena Mintah Akandor Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Kwabena Mintah Akandor

The Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resource, Kwabena Mintah Akandor, has debunked claims that the NDC is helping some Ivorians to cross the border to register in the Juaboso Constituency in the Western region in the ongoing limited voter registration exercise .

Speaking on Atinka AM Drive hosted by Kwame Adinkrah Thursday , Mr Akandor rather claimed that he is only supporting Ghanaians based in Ivory Coast to register so that they can exercise their franchise during the November 7 elections.

According to him, he will not engange in such acts since they are against the constitution of the country but added that he will vehemently support any Ghanaian living abroad to register if the need arises.

The Deputy Minister accused the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), of being behind the allegations and that they just want to prevent him from helping Ghanaians living in Ivory Coast who want to exercise their franchise.
