'Josiah Aryeh is a car thief, bribe taker' – Mosquito

The General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has accused his predecessor, Dr Josiah Aryeh, of car theft and corruption.
Mr Asiedu Nketia said on Monday that Dr Aryeh “stole two cars” belonging to the party when he was leaving office as General Secretary.
“Let Josiah Aryeh come to tell us that he indeed never stole two vehicles from NDC”, Mr Nketia challenged, adding that: “they have been with him and he has not returned them”.
Mr Asiedu Nketia’s rebuttal follows Dr Aryeh’s accusation of Government officials in the Mahama administration as a bunch of thieves.
Speaking at the National Democratic Party’s Delegates Congress in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi, Dr Aryeh said: “…I wasn’t there before and I compare certain people - I don’t wanna name names - to a gang of thieves. They go stealing, burgling in the night and because you and I are not part of the gang that stole, you will never see any sign of the booty, because if you saw the booty, you will let them out so they keep the booty to themselves”.
However, Mr Asiedu Nketia said Dr Aryeh, as a former “bribe taker” from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) while he was General Secretary of the NDC, lacks the credibility to accuse anybody of corruption and thievery.
He told Accra-based Citi FM that the NDP, as a party, is doomed, if the likes of Dr Aryeh remained at the helm of affairs.
