Northern Students’ Union of KNUST Congratulates President John Mahama

The KNUST branch of the Northern Students’ Union (NSU) have expressed their condolences to the family of the former president, Prof John Evans Atta mills whilst congratulating and encouraging His Excellency John Dramani Mahama on his assumption of the seat of government and leader of the NDC in this trying moment of the country. In a statement signed by the president of the Union Mr. Solomon Anzagra, the union acknowledged the challenging nature of the time and assured the president of their brotherly support in this difficult time. “We duly acknowledge the challenging nature of the time and therefore assure His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama of our brotherly unflinching support at all times”. In the statement, the union also expressed conviction of the president’s abilities to govern the country. “We are not doubtful of his competencies and are sure with his equally humble, modest and God-fearing leadership, Ghana will forever be a shining star in the African continent.” The statement concluded on a note of prayer for the president and the desire for God’s blessing for the country and the president.

With the grief and sorrow of the demise of our former president, Prof John Evans Atta Mills, still painfully fresh in our minds, we the KNUST branch of the Northern Students’ Union find it imperative to extend our condolences to Dr. Ernestina Naadu Mills and the entire family of the late president whilst we congratulate and encourage our brother, father and mentor, His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama on his assumption of the highest office of the land and leader of the NDC in this trying moment.
We duly acknowledge the challenging nature of the time and therefore assure His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama of our brotherly unflinching support at all times. We are not doubtful of his competencies and are sure with his equally humble, modest and God-fearing leadership, Ghana will forever be a shining star in the African continent. We therefore pray for God’s blessing and direction for His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama for the growth and development of Ghana whilst assuring him once again that he is not alone in this wearisome moment.
Long live Ghana; long live His Excellency John Dramani Mahama.
