NASPA holds three-day workshop on job creation

The Ashanti Regional branch of the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) has organized a three-day workshop on business development and job creation as part of efforts at assisting its members to venture into businesses.

The programme was held in partnership with Empretec Ghana, Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) and Laine Services, a job recruitment agency.

The participants were exposed to skills in business development, setting up own businesses, corporate presentation and personal branding.

Added to these were the writing of curriculum vitae, interviewing skills, aptitude test and job searching requirements.

Dr Joseph Siaw, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zoomlion Ghana Limited, Mr. Amponsah Efah, CEO, Amponsah Efah Pharmaceuticals, and Mr. Sigismond Dzeble, Human Resource Manager, PZ Cuzzons, were among the resources persons.

Mr. Nelson Owusu Ansah, Regional NASPA President, asked his colleague service persons to take advantage of the opportunity to become self-supporting.**
