Zabzugu District inaugurates Street naming team

The Zabzugu District Assembly in the Northern Region, has inaugurated a 13- member Street Addressing Team (SAT), to facilitate the implementation of the National Street Naming and Property Addressing exercise in the District.

The team is chaired by Mr. Issifu Alidu Laa-Bandow, District Chief Executive.

Mr. Laa-Bandow urged the SAT members to take an active interest in the orientation and preliminary field work on the exercise.

The inauguration was followed by an orientation of the committee on: “The Street Naming and Property Addressing Policy,” facilitated by the technical staff from the Regional Town and Country Planning Department from Tamale.

The orientation, which lasted for two days, took members taken through field work exercises.
