Two die in motor accident at Panpanso near Nsawam

Nsawam, Nov. 25, GNA - A motor accident at Panpanso near Nsawam, had claimed two lives whilst the 23 passengers who received various degree of injuries are receiving treatment at the Nsawam Government Hospital. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Alex Kojo Wowolo, Police Commander in charge of Nsawam who briefed the Ghana News Agency, said Francis Buabeng the driver of the 34-seater bus is also on admission at the Adoagyiri New Life Hospital.

He said the bus, which was travelling from Kumasi was overtaking another bus heading towards Nsawam when Buabeng lost control of the vehicle resulting in the accident.

DSP Wowolo appealed to drivers applying the Accra-Kumasi road to stop over speeding and overtaking to avoid such man made accidents. Meanwhile the two bodies identified as Papa Yaw, 34, a driver's mate and Efe Arthur, a 30-year-old woman have been deposited at the Nsawam Government Hospital for autopsy while police investigations continue. 25 Nov. 09
