Senya-Breku NDC Holds Meeting With Sadat

The former MP for Awutu-Senya, Alhaji Babalami Abu-Sadat, has interacted with the supporters and executive of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Senya-Breku.

The interaction was organised by the Senya ward executive and the supporters.

The former MP commended the supporters for their unflinching support for the party. He tasked the executive and the industrious supporters to go to every nook and cranny of the constituency to organise more sympathisers for the party.

He called on former ministers, deputy ministers, MPs and DCEs to wake up from their slumber and go all out to organise people to join the party.

Alhaji Abu Sadat expressed his dissatisfaction with some members of the party “who have decided to sit on the fence because the party is no more in power.”

He said such people should quickly change their style and join the national executive to revive the structures of the party throughout the country.

Alhaji Abu Sadat, who sounded optimistic, said the NDC will wrest power from the NPP in the 2004 elections.

He appealed to the government to complete the rehabilitation of the Senya road which was started by the NDC.

The ex-MP also appealed to the pre-mix board to assist fishermen with pre-mix fuel to enable them to under take their fishing activities smoothly.

The ex-MP also commended the NDC MPs in Parliament for their good work and asked them to keep it up.

The supporters praised the former MP for his time and continuous support for the party. They called on the national and regional executive to recognise the efforts of the former MP in rebuilding the party.
