As part of its Corporate Social Responsibilities to promote education, health and culture, Sasso has spent GH?250,000 cedis (2.5bn old cedis) on 100,000 exercise books for pupils and students nationwide.

Samara Company Limited, producers of Sasso Insecticide Spray and Coil, was one of the sponsors of the 2014 Ghana's Most Beautiful contest. The 10 ladies are: Abigail Baciara Bentie, winner and Upper West rep; Solace Ewoenam Ekpedzor, Volta rep; Nana Ama Odame Okyere, Eastern rep; Carla Lamine Bongkoyire, upper East rep.

The rest are: Naa Achaawa Sackey, Greater Accra rep; Priscilla Abena Boatemaa Acheampong, Ashanti rep; Sophia BB Bondzie, Central rep; Nana Odeifuo Agyeiwaa, Western rep and Josphine Afia Asamoah, Brong Ahafo rep.

All 10 ladies together with their regions appreciated the kind gesture by Sasso.
Donation was also made to the Otumfour Education Foundation, in which 2,000 copies of the Ashanti regional books were presented together with cartons of Sasso Insecticide Spray and Coil and cash, to assist in the running of the foundation.

A similar gesture was extended to the Okyeman Environment Fund, set up by the Okyehene, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin. 2,000 copies of Eastern region exercise books, cash and cartons of Sasso Insecticide Spray were presented to support the operations of the foundation.
