Roads Minister donates to hospital

Alhaji Inusah Fuseini, Minister of Roads and Highways, has donated various items to the Tamale West Hospital to improve healthcare delivery to the patients.

The items, valued at Ghc5000.000 included 50 student mattresses, 24 solar lamps, 600 plastic plates, and 180 plastic cups.

The Minister, who is Member of Parliament for Tamale Central Constituency, also led the newly elected Executives of the Tamale Central Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and some supporters of the party to clean the premises of the hospital on Saturday.

Alhaji Fuseini said the donation was to augment the facilities of the hospital to better deliver health services to the people.

“The clean-up exercise was also to send signals to the people to keep their surroundings clean to prevent the outbreak of diseases,” he said.

He said his administration was working on three core areas, which included the provision of medical needs, education infrastructure, and the promotion of sanitation to fulfill the aspirations of the constituents.

He gave the assurance that the government, with the Tamale Central Constituency of the NDC, was committed to working to address the welfare concerns of the people and called for their support to ensure success.

Madam Grace Azara Mumuni, Matron of the Tamale West Hospital, who received the items, thanked the Minister for the donation.
