Pharmaceutical Society supports health centre

The Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana (PSGH) has donated drugs and medical consumables valued at more than GHc20,000.00 in support of the Anglican Health Centre at Tanodumase in the Atwima-Mponua District.

Mr James Ohemeng-Kyei, its President, said the gift was in response to an appeal made to them by the facility, which has been serving the health care needs of people in more than 42 communities.

He said they were confident that their modest contribution would help to bring some relief and comfort to patients.

He pledged their resolve to assist check drugs misuse and wage war on fake drugs.

The Most Reverend Dr. Daniel Yinkah Sarfo, Anglican Archbishop of the Internal Province of Ghana, thanked the Society for the donation.

Mr. Jacob Fortweh, Administrator of the health facility, appealed for an ambulance to enable them to respond to medical emergencies as well as medical doctor and staff accommodation.
