This was in response to a request made by the Institute last year to donors. The well-attended presentation ceremony attracted representatives from the Educational Directorate, Zongo District Police Command and other stakeholders who were treated to drills by a well-trained Cadet Corps of the Institute.

Presenting the keys of the Tata Bus, Mr. Kwame Mpeso Asomaning, PTA Chairman of the Institute, said the bus, which was purchased at a cost of GH¢71,000 was to help solve transportation problems the school was facing.

Mr. Joseph Clement Amoah, Deputy Director of the Ashanti Regional Educational Unit, who presented the keys to the Zonta Bus on behalf of the government, stated that, government was everready to assist in the development of the Institute and appealed to the teachers to ensure that students acquired the needed employable skills at the end of their training to support national development. Receiving the keys, Mr. Joseph Abeiku Apprey, Principal of the Institute thanked the benefactors for their support and promised to take good care of the buses.

He therefore appealed to the government (Ministry of Education, Science and Sports) to continue to support the school with the necessary logistics, especially the Pick-ups promised the management. Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Gabriel Magamsi, Zongo District Police Commander advised the students to stay away from negative practices and crime on campus which would have negative effects on their studies.
