PNC elects Parliamentary candidate

Kpando, Feb. 15, GNA- The Volta Regional Congress of the Peoples National Convention (PNC) at Kpando at the weekend elected Mr Kush Agudetse, 49, a Journalist, as the party's Volta Regional Secretary. He was unopposed.

Mr Agudetse has also been put up as the Hohoe-South Parliamentary Candidate of the Party.

Mr Sylvester Ahorklui, a Hohoe-based businessman emerged as the Regional Chairman and Mr Emmanuel Freeman Azinogo, Vice-Chairman. The post of Youth Organiser went to Mr Victor Nyaho with Miss Perfect Ekor as Women's Organiser.

Addressing the delegates, Mr Kerin Tsiney, of the Party Headquarters, in a message on behalf of Dr Edward Mahama, Leader of the Party said the PNC was out to ensure that every Ghanaian was gainfully employed by the age 25 years.

" No Ghanaian after the age of 60, should be scratching for their livelihood, they should be honourably retired", he said. Dr Mahama called on Members of the Party to be honest and live above reproach.

"You can't attract people into the party when they perceived you as corrupt and dishonest", he stated.

Mr Lopez Gamor, a Patron of the Party called for unity to move the party forward towards a resounding victory in the forthcoming elections.
