Okyenhene elevate two chiefs in Suhum

Suhum, Jan. 4, GNA - Osagyefuo Amotia Ofori Panin, the Okyenhene, had elevated two chiefs in Suhum for good performance.

The chiefs are Barimah Ayeh Kofi II, Suhumhene, who has been elevated to Osabarimah Ayeh Kofi I whilst Nana Obirikorang, Tutuhene of Suhum, who has been raised to Akyem Abuakwa Twentuahene. Osagyefuo Amotia Ofori Panin announced this at a ceremony at Okyehene's palace on December 31 last year.

He commended the chiefs and said they were elevated because of their hard work and dedication to the chieftaincy institution in their areas.

"The Akyem Abuakwa State Council will not hesitate to elevate any chief who performs well, especially by developing his community, uniting the people and demonstrating respect for elders," he said
