Nkoranza Secondary Technical School gets new school bus

Nkoranza (B/A), Sept. 21, GNA - Okatakyie Agyemang Kudom IV, Omanhene of Nkoranza Traditional Area has commended the New Patriotic Party's government for ensuring that the national cake was shared equitably to enhance national development.

Okatakyie Agyemang Kudom was addressing the staff of Nkoranza District Assembly, district directorate of education and some members of the New Patriotic Part at his palace, when Mr Kwame Ampofo-Twumasi, Deputy Minister of Education and Sports called on him to announce the government's donation of a 60-seater Tata bus to Nkoranza Secondary Technical School.

The Omanhene described the offer as very timely since means of transport was a major problem facing the school. He gave assurance that the people would never forget "such a credible gesture of government".

Mr James Kwabena Appiah-Awuah, District Chief Executive, commended Mr Ampofo Twumasi, MP for Nkoranza South for the leading role he played in the acquisition of the vehicle.

He expressed appreciation to the government for considering the plight of the students.
