NDC supporters told to be united

Jasikan (V/R), Feb. 4, GNA - Mr Kamel Ford, National Democratic Party (NDC) Buem Constituency Chairman, has called on supporters of the party to eschew divisive tendencies and intensify their political campaign to return the party to power in this year's elections.

"Ghanaians are suffering under the present regime, the NDC is the only party who can salvage the suffering of the people through good governance," he said.

Mr Ford who was speaking to newsmen after a two-day outreach programme, which took him to Teteman, Bodada, Okadjakrom, New-Ayoma and Kudje, tasked the supporters to intensify their membership drive to win more supporters.

He advised them to tolerant during the political campaign since "your political opponent is never your enemy".

Mr Ford advised them to prevail on people to register when the voter's registration exercise starts next month to enable them to exercise their franchise in the elections in December.
