NCCE organise constitution game Quiz for Upper East Schools.

Bolgatanga, Dec 1, GNA - Navrongo Secondary School (NAVASCO) emerged the overall winners in the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) constitutional games competition organised for 10 second-cycle schools in the Upper East Region.

All contesting schools received copies of the Constitution, posters on the duties of a citizen, the abridged constitution and civic education, and T-shirts as their prizes.

In addition to these, NAVASCO received a plaque for taking the first position. NAVASCO would represent the Region at the national competition.

The Regional Director of the NCCE, Mr Hussein Haruna told the students that it was the duty of the Commission and the adult population to prepare the youth to take up responsible roles in the future.

He said in view of that the NCCE had taken several approaches including the constitutional games idea to achieve the purpose and that the Commission was prepared to work closely with all stakeholders to move the democratic process forward.
