Housing Management Consultant calls for more exchange programmes

Zuarungu (U/E), July 28, GNA - A Ghanaian Housing Management Consultant based in the United Kingdom (UK), Mrs. Josephine Clayton, has called for more student exchange programmes between Ghana and UK. Speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Zuarungu in the Upper East Region on Thursday, she pointed out that such programmes would help students to become more practical to contribute to national development

Mrs. Clayton said through her own efforts and fund raising activities four students from UK were currently teaching Mathematics, English, and Physical Education (PE) at Nyariga-Bisi Primary School near Zuarungu.

She said she had donated two packets of roofing sheets worth about 6 million cedis for the rehabilitation of the school building of the school and provided a quantity of teaching and learning aids and sports kits.

Mrs. Clayton indicated that she would arrange more exchange programmes for school children from Ghana and the United Kingdom and appealed for support for the programme.
