Evaluation and Monitoring ministry holds 3-day workshop in Sogakope

The Ministry of Monitoring and Evaluation has held a 3-day workshop with Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Focal Persons from 35 Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to update on their respective Government High priority programmes for 2020 as well as the 2019 Annual assessment Report on the Priority Programmes.

Opening the workshop at Sogakope in the Volta Region, the Sector Minister, Anthony Akoto Osei, described as impressive the strides being made in the realization of the High Priority Programmes.

He also expressed gratitude to all the M&E Focal Persons in the MDAs for their unbridled commitment towards the achievement of the various Government Projects and Programmes in the country.

With the successful organization of the first ever National Results Fair and the impending Regional Results Fair, Hon. Akoto Osei said the focus on the latter will be mostly on projects and programmes that have been executed within the respective regions.

He urged all to continue to work hard to ensure that the successes of the National Fair are replicated during the Regional events.

In attendance at the workshop were the Deputy Minister, Hon William Kwasi Sabi, the Chief Executive Officer of the Public Sector Reforms, Mr Thomas Kusi Boafo, the Technical Advisor to the Sector Minister, Mr Andrew Asibey, and the Finance and Administration Director, Mr. Richard Fidelis.

Also present were the Director for Policy, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PPME) Mr Ebenezer Dwira and the M&E specialist at the Ministry, Mr Raymond Mensah.
