Essamang gets a multipurpose community centre

Essamang (W/R), Oct 3, GNA - Mrs. Gifty Eugenia Kusi, the Member of Parliament for

Tarkwa Nsueam, has appealed to the Ghana Rubber Estate Limited (GREL) to consider

ceding a sizable portion of their land within the municipality to communities. She said this at the inauguration of a multipurpose community centre a= t Esaamang. The facility, financed by GREL, consists of a computer laboratory, an auditorium and

offices. Mrs. Kusi congratulated GREL for the continuous assistance it had rendered to the

municipality and appealed to the company to consider communities that had not yet

benefited from the company's social responsibility projects. The MP appealed to all citizens in the constituency to take part in th= e forthcoming

registration exercise as the present voter identity card will be ineffectiv= e after the

registration exercise.
