Eastern Regional Minister commends GNA

Koforidua Oct. 4, GNA - Mr Kwadwo Afram- Asiedu, Eastern Regional Minister, has commended the Ghana News Agency (GNA) for its objective and wide network coverage of activities in the area. He said the decision of GNA management to make more reporters and stringers available to cover events in the region, was commendable. Mr Affram-Asiedu made the commendation when Mr Rex Owusu-Ansah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the GNA, paid a courtesy call on him in Koforidua on Friday. He assured that, the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) would assist reporters in the region in whatever way possible, to enhance their work. On his part, Mr Owusu-Ansah assured that the GNA would continue to provide fair and balanced coverage to all political parties on their activities. He appealed to the political parties to make their programmes available to the GNA offices in the region on time, to enable personnel of the Agency to plan adequate coverage for those activities.
