Ho, June 13, (Kanyi) GNA - Work would soon begin on a six-unit four storey school block for the Evangelic Assemblies of God International (EVAGIS) Pre-school in Ho.

The project estimated at GHc 400,000 would also include the acquisition of modern teaching and learning materials, Reverend Senyo Pongo, Resident Pastor of the Ho Central Assemblies of God Church said at the School's first Parents, Teachers Association (PTA) meeting.

He said the new site would have all facilities of international standards to make it, 93home away from home."

Rev. Pongo said the initiative was to afford working mothers the opportunity to have a reliable place to keep their children while at work with the assurance of their safety.

He said after just two years in operation, the School had registered its name among the best pre-schools in the Municipal area with new admissions everyday necessitating the expansion of facilities.

"Currently we are forced to turn away parents and their children with some leaving in tears due to inadequate facilities, you can just imagine, everybody wants to come to EVAGIS."

Rev. Pongo said the School was recently given grade 93B" in the last rating by the Municipal Office of the Ghana Education Service and said, that grading had given the authorities the encouragement to do more.

He said it is the hope of the School to equip the individual to be useful to himself or herself and the society at large through systematic training of the whole person, spiritually, morally, academically and physically.

"It is our vision to have Christ-like EVAGIS products full of integrity, discipline with academic excellence and physical fitness to meet the challenges and demands of modern times," Rev. Pongo told the GNA.
