ECG Manager on good customer/worker relationship

Ajumako (C/R), March 9, GNA - The District Manager of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) at Ajumako in the Central Region, Mr Robert Amoh has cautioned workers of the Company to be respectful and sensitive to the plights, problems and needs of their customers. Mr Amoh gave the warning at a staff meeting to remind workers on the core Values and ethics of the Company.

He said workers should be passionate about customers, deliver quality service, reliable and safe power supply, show professionalism and competence through what he termed as 93partnership for high performance".

Mr Amoh further charged workers to value each other, adding that team work and safety consciousness were very essential. They should also make sure that consumers had trust in them by showing transparency and the ability to live up to the promises of the Company.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency, Mr Amoh said the doors of his office were wide open to the general public, and that all should feel free to report problems associated with power supply and misconduct on the part of the workers to his office. He urged consumers of electricity to pay their bills promptly to avoid disconnection.
