Dutch student donates to PLWHA in Wa

Wa, Aug. 4, GNA - A Dutch medical student has donated assorted drugs and foodstuff valued at 10 million cedis to 25 people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) in the Wa Municipality.

Mr Reve Bouwman, who is on a two-week visit to Ghana told the Ghana News Agency, that said he raised the money for the donation during a 160-kilometre charity walk he undertook in the Netherlands. He said he was inspired by his compatriot, Miss Cindy Noodermeer, a Dietician who has initiated a project in Wa, to help improve the nutritional and medical conditions of the patients.
