Company donates energy drinks to Tema Police

Tema, Dec. 14, GNA - The Tema Regional Police Command has received a quantity of Impulse Energy Drink worth GHC 2,500, from the Management of Direct Health Network (DHN), importers and distributors of Impulse Energy Drink from the United States.

It is to help boost the morale of personnel of the Service during the coming Christmas festivities. Mr Nathaniel Sagoe, Managing Director of the Company, who made the donation, said it had become necessary to energize the Police when Christmas was just around the corner, to enable them to prove equal to the challenges of the occasion.

Mr Sagoe said the need to uphold and support the Police in the discharge of their duties had become not only obligatory, but also imperative and urgent as Christmas approached. He said as a corporate institution, DHN deemed it handy and fit to support the Police with the drink, so that they could replace and replenish lost energies, as they embarked on their day and night patrols on the streets in the Metropolis during the Yuletide festivities. The MD hoped the gesture would help strengthen the existing cordial Police-Public relations.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Augustine Gyening, Tema Regional Police Commander, received the donation and thanked the company for the gesture.

ACP urged well-meaning Ghanaians to always donate to support and motivate the Police in the discharge of their core mandate of protecting lives and property.
