Church leaders urged to be committed to physical development of members

Kumasi, April 18, GNA - The Reverend Francis Nyadu-Addo, leader and founder of the 'Compassion For Souls Evangelical Chapel', has charged church leaders to kick against over-indulgence in spiritual activities to the detriment of the physical development of their members. He indicated the need for church leaders to explore avenues to offer employable skills and other development programmes to their members to enable them contribute meaningfully towards the nation's socio-economic development.

Rev Nyadu-Addo was preaching at a special service to round off a four-day Easter retreat of the church in Kumasi on Monday. It was on the theme: "The Role of the Contemporary Christian in Nation Building".

Rev Nyadu-Addo decried instances where some Christians spent their productive time attending prayer meetings, fasting and engaging in other spiritual activities.
