Chief of Busunya appeals for fair distribution of projects

Busunya, (B/A), July 22, GNA - Nana Okofo Nyarko Gyabaa II, Chief of Busunya in the Nkoranza North District, has appealed to the district assembly to ensure fair distribution of development projects among all communities in the district. He pleaded with workers and staff of the assembly to team up with Mr Kwadwo Adjei-Dwomoh, the District Chief Executive, to move the district forward.

Nana Gyabaa II made the appeal when he and some of his elders visited Mr Adjei-Dwomoh to congratulate the DCE on his appointment. Mr Kingsley Yeboah, Unit Committee Chairman of the area called on the assembly members to see themselves as the representation of the people and unite to improve on development projects in their respective areas.

Mr Adjei-Dwomoh said his doors were opened to all the people irrespective of their political inclination and assured them that he would not play partisan politics in the discharge of his duties. He said the assembly was liaising with the administration of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFUND) to upgrade the Busunya Senior High School into a boarding institution to enhance the education of the youth in the area. Mr Adjei-Dwomoh said the assembly was also negotiating with the Ministry of Health to upgrade the Health Centre at Busunya into the status of a hospital to provide quality health care delivery. 22 July 09
